Phun Phillies!

Today the kiddos and I went to the Philly's game.  We haven't been in a while... and I think this is the last Sunday they will go with me as the last two games in September Bob has off and can go!  It was a crazy ride down and took almost an hour and a half... accident on 476... ugh.  I didn't know that the Eagles had an open practice at 12.  Open Eagles practice = more traffic!!  95 was clear sailing though, so that was good!  The cop working the parking was the nice guy who's girls have played softball up in our area... so he 'likes' us!  We got an AWESOME spot and didn't have to walk too far!!!  Perfect luck!  Thank you Mr. Police Officer (I should really spy his name!!)

Quick play in the Phanatic Phun Zone, a check out of the new Charlie Manual plaque and to our seats!  Karen was not there today so that gave us more space!  (Although she is a nice woman, it was nice to be able to spread out!!)

The kiddos were very well behaved, only one 'almost' episode with RJ!  They watched, played, and ate the snacks we brought from home!  We didn't buy anything at the park... except the extra ticket that is!  Fun times!!  We left mid 9th as the Phils were down 5-6... I hate to rush out with two little sets of legs!!  When we got into the car we listened to the end of the game on the radio... the Phils came back to win 7-6 in the bottom of the 9th!  Sad to have missed an awesome comeback BUT we had NO traffic the entire ride home!  Wow!!!  I was shocked... we always run into some traffic going from 95 to 476.  But easy, clear sailing, no real slow down either!!
