First day of Fishing!

Today started out super early and had a great start... Daddy with his fishing vest and camo, Morgan with her phone and camo.  Not sure where RJ was at this moment, probably on his iPad (ugh).  Off they went!

Good spot! Everyone is happy!

...UNTIL

Less than an hour later the family returned crying, angry, and in bad moods.... Morgan dropped her phone into the water.  Oh boy... her phone went into rice.  Long story short, everyone calmed down and thanks to Momma, her phone was saved.  Whew!

Accident = NICE Rental

About the only thing nice about getting in a car accident is the rental, lol.  

It was NOT my fault.  A lady ran a stop sign AND fully admitted she THOUGHT it was a 4-way stop! My right front into her drivers door.

Thank goodness I was going right around the speed limit of 25 so the damage wasn't horrible to either of our cars.  We were both able to drive our cars away from the scene.  I felt so blessed that Morgan, I and the other lady were ok without being hurt.  Biggest issue - Morgan missed her private clarinet lesson.

Also felt thankful that the accident occurred in the borough where I knew the officerS that attended to the scene since I was still a little shaken up.

Even with the 'minimal' damage I was told my car had it was still approximately $2500 in damages estimated by the dealer.  Thank goodness I was found NO fault at all by both insurance companies (rightfully so!) so repairs and the rental were completely free for me with no increase in our insurance!

St Patty's Day on a Sunday!

What a fun day!  Nice long time to party on a Sunday but tomorrow... we won't think about that! lol

Ran into some friends, and my sweet friend Kristi came to hang out with me!  It was so nice to have fun and chat outside of the school environment!

Vegging before bed...

Shamrock Shuffle

Today I got up bright and early and headed to the Shamrock Shuffle (5k).  Little chilly, little hilly, but ran it the best I could! Bob took me... but somehow he thought I was slow so he was still drinking beer inside the pub when I crossed the finish line.  Ugh.

Nachole asked me to run the race 'with' her (we didn't really run together. as I was a bit quicker.. but waited together for the start and saw each other after the race).

I didn't love running with 100's of other people... I still enjoy running alone over races... BUT I did enjoy the medal I was awarded at the end :)

Post holiday supper!

Tonight we celebrated as a department - our post holiday party!  It is always nice to see and chat with all the wives that we so rarely see!  It is also nice to see the guys in person.  I have to admit this year... it is starting to be obvious the divide between the 'older' guys and the more recent hires!  Some of those new hires truly look like teenagers still!  Gulp!  Nice night out!
