Vacation, day 2

The Sun has returned!!  

Lot of fun in the sun!

Some down time is in order!

After supper... onto the boardwalk for some rides!

Then onto some golf... Pop Pop joined in on the fun!

Lots of fun today.  Looking forward to Daddy coming down to the shore soon! 

Vacation, day 1

Today was our first day of vacation. This was the street we usually turn down... hmmm...

It rained off and on throughout the day so no beach for us today.  We unpacked and got ourselves organized in the house.

After supper we went to the boardwalk and rode a couple rides.

The best part of the day... finding out...

Yay!!  Super excited for the Schultz Family!!

Although today was a nice start to our vacation, of course, this year, it is bittersweet.  Bob did not come down with us as he wasn't quite ready.  I understand... life doesn't go as planned.  Although going on vacation seems slightly hypicritical, I think it was important for me and the kiddos to relax for a few days and mentally prepare for the funeral that was coming.
