Winter beach

We had the opportunity to enjoy a couple days at the beach house. It was so pretty driving downtown with the hanging Christmas lights over the road. In all my years, I don't think I have EVER been to Ocean City in December to see the decorations. Made it all look so pretty! We enjoyed a nice time together as a family. Savoring all these moments as they are far and few between these days! (Only downfall - trying to find places open for breakfast, lunch, and supper, lol).

Morgan wanted to catch a sunrise so the pup and I joined her. Successful one morning, not so great the second. (boo hiss)

Nice walk on the boardwalk

Trees decorated for special causes on the beach

This one was for 'save the turtles'

and this one was in support of our miliary and law enforcement

Play downtown

Today we took Mom and Dad’s tickets. Although it was pouring rain and the show wasn’t great it was nice to go into the city together and to enjoy some time as a couple.

Local light displays

This year the whole family decided to check out the lights with me. We went after Thanksgiving before heading home. Christmas lights just make me happy.

Because one of the displays was on TV - (Christmas Light Fight) it was SO crowded that we couldn't even get out of the car so we did a slow drive-by.

Halloween parade today!! I spy lots of fun costumes! Can you spot Morgan and RJ? How about the one dressed as a police officer? Oh wait - that’s not a costume, lol

Peddler’s Village

A nice day out for all of us! Dad wanted to do a scarecrow so bad but neither of his children wanted to help him so he lost the battle. Instead, we took a trip to Peddler’s Village and dad’s rule was we each needed to pick our favorite scarecrow. After walking around we enjoyed supper at the Cock and Bull. With full bellies we came home happy.
