Crafty Momma

What better to do on yet another rainy day?  (FINALLY) make curtains for my closet window!  The beginnings of the material... I wanted the pattern on both sides so I had to sew to panes together...

 Sewed!  Now time to hang!
Make-shift curtain using a sheet (ugh)
 Ta-da!

I'm super happy about how this curtain came out!

RJ and his hair

Ugh... I compromised with RJ.  I let him keep the front long for the rest of the summer but come school he will be getting it chopped off!

Silver Champs!

I am so excited for my kiddos!  They had a great summer swim season and I am so proud of them!  They both tried their best and worked hard for the last month or so!  Way to go!  LONG meet... we got there around 3:30 and we didn't leave until 8:30ish... but Morgan and RJ both did great!

The last scores weren't posted before we left...

This is the information on our website.  I realized that the pool we swam at for champs is longer than our pool, therefore the times on the above sheets aren't totally accurate because the pool is longer, hence an equation had to be completed... so you can see below Morgan and RJ's true times!

Dad's Retirement Gathering

Today Mom hosted an open house retirement gathering for Dad.  He had a nice turnout.  I only took a few pictures, but better than nothing!

Heath Family Reunion 2018!

Today my parents hosted the annual Heath Family Reunion.  It was a nice day... hot in the sun but manageable in the shade! A bunch of the family couldn't make it due to other activities going on (for example, a wedding in Canada, working, baseball tournaments, etc) but the people who made it wanted to be there and it was nice to catch up since many of these people we only see one time a year!  Here a few highlights, in pictures, from the day!

How many shots does it take...

After about 20 shots... this was the best of the bunch!
Ahhh... memories :)
