And we grow by 1!

To a family of 5 once again!

Let me inroduce the newest member of our family.  We call her Willow for short.  Her real name is Willow-Whatever you name is-Lee.

Our sweet love Oreo passed on Tuesday and on Wednesday Bob was already feeling lonley.  They kiddos and I had PREP/CCD and the texts kept coming.  I'm lonley... it is so quiet... I miss having a four legged friend...  Bob was having a really hard time with the silence. Bob started looking into new Shitzu's.  Wow... they were all super expensive and hard to find!  I can't see spending 1200, 1500 for one little dog!  Gulp!  Then Bob found a picture of a puppy through the Inquirer Newspaper that he fell in love with.  We went and visited two different Shitzu breedes ending with the lady who was selling this dog.  Bob and the kiddos fell in love at first real sight even more than love at picture.  The Shitzu breeders we visited didn't wow us, but this pup wow'd Bob 100%.  So... we walked away with this pup.

We finally decided on a name that we could (somewhat) agree on.  So... the story continues.  Let's hope Willow is a smart pup and picks things up quickly.

If I'm being totally honest... I am a bit hesitant/nevous/worried.  I really am not ready for another dog.  I haven't gotten over morning Oreo.  I am praying that I can accept another dog this quickly into my life.  I have to remember... since one year after our marriage, we have been with at least 1 dog the entire time.  It appears this is what Bob needs to heal.  I will hope to manage and not resent this new puppy.  I just hope that my family members follow through with their promise to help me potty train and take care of this new pup, Willow.

Welcome home.

RJ's First Holy Communion

Today was RJ's very special day.  Everything was worked out perfectly!  RJ got his professional pictures beforehand, and Bob and I were able to get the house in order before the 5pm mass and having everyone return to our home.  We were so excited for RJ to (finally - in his eyes) recieve the body of Christ for the first time.  I just hoped he wouldn't make a face or spit out the host!  He did amazing!!

We thank everyone who was able to come and celebrate with RJ!
Thank you Uncle Jeff for co-officiating and giving RJ his first host ever!
