Almost over...

March is almost gone! I can't believe it! I had an amazing amount of work this month and although I am exhausted, I have just about completed two full graduate classes, 17 IEPs, working, taking care of my family, and the house! Wow!! I have not had a day off since April, so the Easter break has been well waited for!!
Today I spoke with someone who made me really look at myself. It happens to everyone once or twice (or more) over the journey of life. I was told I was a very negative, judgemental person. Yes, I fully admit I am very opinionated and very honest and will tell my friends and family exactly how I feel about something. My family and friends can either take my opinion to heart or ignore it and move on... which is what happens more often than not! I have very strong beliefs and sometimes I may not filter what comes out of my mouth, however I feel that what I say must be said for the well being of others.

After today I have made a vow to make sure I know who my real friends are and stand up for myself and my personality. I know I am not perfect, however I feel that my good qualities shine over the imperfections. I need to make sure all my friendships are two-sided. I truly love all my friends! This whole situation made me feel equally hurt, sad, and offended. This was a learning lesson in life. God doesn't give you more than you can handle!

Overall, my graduate class is almost over and that means three down and two to go!! Just about to walk down the other side of the hill! Yippee! The hard work is paying off!

The loves of my life below and what matters most to me! Family and real friends!!

Asher's Easter Egg Hunt!

What a beautiful day for an Easter Egg Hunt!! I was taking a class today so Daddy took Morgan to the annual Asher's Easter Egg hunt! It was originally scheduled for last weekend, but it had to be rescheduled since it rained by the bucket last weekend!

Morgan said she had a lot of fun! She really liked picking up the little packages of jelly-belly jelly beans versus the plastic eggs that had chocolate in them... silly girl! She picked up the candies and put them in her princess Easter basket! (Thanks MeMom)

She was very excited to tell me all about it when she got home! She also said hello to the Easter Bunny! Maybe because this Easter Bunny had a human face. There was not a mask on the Easter Bunny's face so Morgan wasn't afraid of her! Whew! That might not have been a good scene!
Thumbs up... ready to hunt!

Morgan with her friends Angela and Hannah waiting patiently...

Saying hello to the Bunny!

Active in the hunt!

Getting that candy!

So many to pick from!

Checking out her loot! Mostly jelly beans!

GEORGE!!!!

Tonight we got to go ans see 'Curious George Live' as a family! We had a great time. RJ wasn't too wiggly... food always helps! Only one mishap of the night... in the car Morgan and RJ were fighting over the 5 dollar George balloon. We got home and I told Morgan to hold the string tight... little did I know the balloon was no longer tightly attached to the string... Morgan still had a tight hold on the string as the balloon itself floated away into the dark night sky... there went money literally out the door... or into the sky... lesson learned for Morgan!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

This is a busy week! Tonight the kids and I joined the Gardiner Clan at the Plymouth Meeting Mall for an informal supper. It was fun to visit for a little while in a place where the kids could run around! We had a nice time!

We tried out the carousel too! That was a blast and the kids even got a horse stamped hand after the ride... that was a hit!

We also saw the Easter Bunny from a distance... kind of... Morgan started crying hysterically at the thought of coming within ten feet of the Bunny, however RJ ran towards the bunny and clung to it's leg... How to split yourself into two? I ended up prying hysterical Morgan off my leg and rescuing the Bunny from RJ's death grip. Poor Morgan... she still doesn't like characters without human faces! Give it time and I think she'll begin to like them, I hope!!

Note to self: Morgan is also scared of escalators!

OH... and a big THANK YOU to Aunt Jo for taking Morgan to the potty to go poop in the mall. Public Restrooms and dirty toilet seats = my fear! Morgan... next time hold it please!

Outside!

Outside weather is coming... even with heavy jackets on the kiddos really wanted to play outside with the dogs... after a long day of work I decided some cold fresh air would do us all well!

Cabinet Play

What is so exciting about a kitchen cabinet? Somehow it is the best toy!! Both RJ and Morgan love to climb in the cabinet and 'hide' in their 'house' as Morgan calls it! Too cute! However it means Momma is forever cleaning up the floor! Because first they usually empty the cabinet so they have enough room to climb in... It is really a harmless game, so I just let them play it! They are learning how to clean up when the game is over too... but the clean up song only goes just so far...

Woodhecker!

Today when we got to the sitter's house Morgan heard a woodpecker and said, "Momma, what is that noise?" I answered her with a woodpecker and explained to her that the woodpecker had a long nose and liked to bang it's nose again trees to try and find bugs to eat. She was ok with that explanation. When I picked Morgan and RJ up from the sitter, the sitter told me Morgan said she heard a woodhecker outside and then explained what the 'woodhecker' was doing. Cute saying!!

Day 3.... we made it...

AGAIN.

Can you believe it? RJ has yet another ear infection and cold... Poor little guy! He came down with a fever last night of 101.9 and I was hoping it was just a passing thing... Today he woke up with a 102.9 fever. Urgh... and he was very whiney! What to do, what to do... I left school about an hour early and took him to the doctor. He fevered in with a 104.5 fever *yikes* and had yet another ear infection. Oh my Bubba, oh my. We skipped swimming today because RJ wasn't up to it. He loves the pool, but I can't take him if he is going to be grouchy the whole time!! I sure hope tomorrow is a less painful day for my little guy!!

Day 2 done with Daddy away. (He left yesterday morning to go to a Fingerprinting school in Raleigh North Carolina. It sounds like a really neat school!!)

Early Morning Friend

As I was up washing dishes early this morning I saw my friend came back for a visit! Wonder if he (she?) likes the snow. How can you tell if a fox is a male or female from looking from a far? Hmm...

Today I had a graduate class starting at 8:30. It was nice to come home! RJ and Morgan were both down for naps, but it was still nice to come home and sit on a comfortable chair!! I think that was the worst part of class today! Sitting on the hard small desk attached to chairs. The information presented is interesting, so we'll see how the rest of the class goes! Working on finishing 3 more credits!!

Enjoyed the rest of the night with the family!
