Toad

Today we had a fun filled day!! The day started out with going to Asher's Candy to see "Toad's Great Escape". This time I took RJ with Morgan. They both did really well! MeMom gave them each a small bag of jelly beans which always helps too! RJ sat quietly and watched for all but the last five minutes at which point he wanted to sit on my lap for the rest of the show. Good job RJ! Great job setting a good example for your little bro Morgan! After we got home the Gardiner family came over for a visit! We had a wonderful time, like usual!! The kiddos always play so well, and they all play with each other too!
What a great Saturday!!

Silly Love

RJ is in LOVE with Morgan's Easter boots! He got a pair for himself too, but his aren't as colorful as Morgan's. His foot is only about 1-1.5 size smaller than hers so they stay on and he has no difficulty walking (or running) in them! What a silly boy!

Too cute... Morgan giving her little bro some lovin'

and some squeezing...
but it IS squeezing with love!

Swim-swim-Swim!

Today I had the day off, Easter Monday. I got to take my babes to swim lesson this morning. Morgan has done an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G job! I can't believe what a little swimmer she really is! She loves the water and tries so hard! She is swimming so much without a bubble, it is amazing to see her progression since I don't get to see her swim every week!

This week, F.I.N.A.L.L.Y RJ was happy while swimming so MeMom was able to take a few shots of him in the pool. He hates cold water because he gets cold very fast, so that impacts on his joy of swimming and it can be a battle, but not today! Yea! Happy RJ!! He swims with just his bubble on, I don't need to hold him up anymore, so he is getting it... slowly but surely!

After swimming MeMom treated us to McDonald's (still MY favorite) before we headed home for naps! Fun day!

Lipstick

Should I tell RJ if he wants to use Morgan's lipstick (colored chap stick) that it goes on his lips, not his nose, cheek, chin, eye? Na... he is just too darn cute! This was the best picture to show off RJ's make-up, but it isn't a great picture of his smiling face. urgh.

Hunts and Love

Today was the Trumbauersville Easter Egg Hunt. It was rainy but they said it would go on... rain or shine! Daddy had to work night shift so I invited Aunt Megan and Uncle Andy to join us. Unfortunately it was raining so even though they said the egg hunt was rain or shine it wasn't much of an egg hunt. **sigh** It was you get a bag of eggs and then you get to pick some chocolate off the table. I did not realize that we would be given hard boiled eggs! Because of the rain less people showed up than expected so we were given two bags per child. (Two bags = tons of hard boiled eggs) Some of the eggs had a word written on them which meant we got 'bunny money' which was real money that could be used. We got one that said $1.oo and one that said $5.00. It was pretty cool that my kids got money, but it was a bummer that we couldn't actually 'find' the eggs! Aunt Megan and Uncle Andy stood with us and we did what we could to have fun! We all went back to our house to have some egg salad for lunch! There was another egg hunt too in Richland Township that said rain or shine so we decided we would try to hit that one, BUT when I got back and checked the computer, that egg hunt was actually canceled. Ugh.

The kids and I got to hang out with Aunt Megan and Uncle Andy for a couple hours! We had a lot of fun... it is hard not seeing them as often as we would like!! The kids adore both Aunt Megan and Uncle Andy!!

Easter Bunny get ready...

For bright and colorful eggs to hide!

The kids had a blast dyeing eggs today! RJ thought it was the funniest thing when Daddy took out the colored egg! He was giggling hysterically and was whole body wiggly!

Last year we dyed eggs with the Gardiner Family. When I asked Morgan if I should write anyone's name on the egg she said Claire and Zandi. So sweet! I love you Peanut!!

Although egg dyeing is nerve racking for me because I'm always afraid that the waters will get knocked over and we will have a wet stained mess EVERYWHERE the kids and Daddy had a blast! ...and so did I! The eggs turned out great!

Easter Bunny... hope you hid those eggs EASY!!
