Happy Halloween!!

I love Halloween!  The kiddos had a great time!  I think they had a good day from start to finish... except when I said no more candy eating!  Boo hiss!  :(

Hayride!

Tonight we enjoyed a hayride... Daddy, RJ, and Momma.  So sad to not have Morgan with us, but she is at a Halloween Sleepover Party!  Lucky her, sad Momma!  RJ had a bday party earlier in the day too!  Both kiddos lucky!

We enjoyed a nice NOT scary hayride under the stars at a farm where Daddy worked the SCARY part as a teenager!
Spooky Family Shot!

No way we are going there!!

Not great... but a couple hayride shots!

Anniversary Double Date!

We got to go out on a double date with a new friend couple of ours... Our anniversaries are less than a week apart so we planned this date... way in advance!  It is hard to find couples that Bob and I both like the woman/man respectively and that have kiddos our kiddos age.  Make sense?  This family seems to be fitting with us right now... their daughter is Morgan's age and they have two boys, one in second grade as is RJ, and one in first grade.  All three boys play nicely together (and sometimes I think RJ might get along better with the first grader!)

Tonight we were very blessed to have Aunt Melanie babysit not only for Bob and I, but for our friends Russ and Temple too!  Aunt Melanie was a saint to accept the challenge!  Our two plus their three!  Gulp!  Although... I have watched them all together several times before and they are actually... dare I say easier... when Morgan and RJ have playmates?!  They don't insist on the TV or the Ipad.  They actually play and have fun like the good ol' days!

For supper, we left Melanie money and Temple called in the pizza order, as they are vegan so that order was a little trickier than just... one pizza, one fries!

The Siegers and we went to Bob and my favorite Mexican restaurant.  We didn't even have to wait!  Score!!  We all enjoyed supper (and being a little silly).

We then headed to another more local pub.  We sat at the bar and the men got some more to drink.  Us ladies got fancy, flavored seltzer water.  Temple does not currently drink and I had three margaritas at the Mexican restaurant, so I figured I had had enough!

It was a fun night out to act as adults!  Maybe we can make this Anniversary Double Date a yearly tradition... we'll see what next year brings!

Morgan & RJ's Family Party!

These kiddos are so spoiled to have so many people who love them!!

Everything Daddy and I got to eat tasted great, and the few things we made tasted yummy too!  Whew!  I think a good time was had by all!
