New Year’s Eve 2019!

Happy New Year's!  Let's make 2020 the best year ever!  We had a blast celebrating the last couple hours before the ball drop with games, electronics (of course) and family time!  Cheers to an amazing year to come!

Today at school we had a fun time!  We all dressed as Waldo... where is the REAL Waldo?

RJ wasn't allowed to wear his costume to school but Morgan was!

To go out trick or treating Morgan had her friends come over all dressed in Winnie the Pooh characters and RJ the green blob, haha.

Hero Show 2019!

This afternoon we attended the Philly Hero Show.  It is a neat variety of all emergency type jobs from around Philly.  There was an emergency helicopter to look at, an emergency boat that you could actually walk into, and a swat truck that RJ took a look in.  There were also fire trucks giving free rides but the sirens were too loud for RJ’s ears so we didn’t stand in that long line to wait.  That part was all neat but what we really enjoyed was watching the ‘shows,’ specifically the K-9 dog tricks and the motorcycle routines.  Of course we had to get some junk food too while we were there.

It was a nice day - not too hot and not too cold! It was crowded but obviously with so many cops around there was no worrying about hoodlums, lol.

Grange Fair 2019

Today we visited the Grange Fair.  Something Bob had done with his parents since he was little... from farm animals to crafts to bees to greasy food to pig races to tractors to games to rides to the best part for Bob... the sit down 1/2 chicken supper!  We tried to find Grandmom's bench but we couldn't locate it.  That was a little bit of a bummer and when I asked, the information desk said there wasn't a map to where each dedicated bench was located.

 

Then we hit Goodnoe Ice Cream after the Grange Fair... YUMMY!
