Cards to new homes.

I got all my Christmas cards out today! Dropped them in the mailbox BRIGHT and EARLY!

Yipee! Right on time! Next year I want to try and get them out on the 29th to make sure everyone gets their cards on the 1st. But I am pretty proud of myself and my timing!

Now I can't wait to get the cards coming in! This year I have a feeling the kiddos will open all the cards... but I love watching their joy as the cards come in! I have joy in seeing who sent a kind thought our way!

Let the Christmas Card season (and the photo cards all over our pantry door) BEGIN!

Family Gathering to celebrate Morgan!

We had a wonderful time at the family party for Morgan. We had a small(er) gathering than normal, but it worked out nice and got we got to spend extra time with those able to make it. (It was a hard time to get together, being Thanksgiving weekend.)

Morgan LOVED her cake.
Another AMAZING work of art from MeMom!!

Morgan was spoiled... and LOVED all her new gifts!!
Wow... Look at you Uncle Matt! What a good sport!

Playing her new game with RJ and Aunt Meggie!

Morgan, my peanut... you looked gorgeous today in your beautiful dress! I hope you had a wonderful night shared with everyone who loves you!

Family = Blessed

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving makes everyone (I hope) sit back and think about all they have to be thankful for. As the day to day life marches forward the little things that are stressful, bother us, annoy us, and make life challenging get in our way of seeing all of our blessings!

I am thankful for so many things, but especially my loved ones, both family and friends. Without the love and support from them daily life would be a struggle!

MeMom made a scrumptious meal with all the fixings! Turkey, copes corn, green bean casserole, creamed onions, asparagus, and so much more!

What a wonderful day was spent (after watching the Channel 6 parade and seeing Santa head down the way) with the ones we love! Spending time with family truly is priceless!
When Felicity arrived she had been sleeping in the car... she transferred to the couch. Lucky joined her and after a while Auntie Nikki said Morgan and RJ could wake her up... ps. It didn't go well... but she did cheer up!

How old do you have to be to use a smart phone?

Delicious Desserts! YUM!!

This is just.... beautiful!

Artistic Creations!

I love watching my kiddos enjoy time together, without the TV, and doing something as simple as coloring and drawing! A double sided easel! Perfect!

Check.

Done - XMAS cards ordered.

Couldn't order from two large companies... b/c it was going to take almost 2 weeks to come. OR I could pay an extra fifty bucks to have them sooner. Um... No thank you, although I have to admit I did ponder it!

Next on list... write XMAS letter to those we don't talk to often.

Airplanes!

A couple weekends ago (the weekend of daylight savings time) we came to the little airport cafe a neighbor told us about. Due to the time change we were up early and went to 7:30 mass and then to breakfast around 8:30. We picked the right time because we were told that there is a group of gentleman that meet and take off to go to breakfast out west between 8:15-8:45am. Although the 'cafe' is much to be desired... literally we had a choice of eggs, eggs, or muffin... it was only the kiddos and I so we enjoyed ourselves. Bob had to work. The kiddos got to see 8 or 9 planes take off. It was pretty neat! This week we came back again after we went to church, ran some errands and got to the airport cafe around 11:30. We saw all the planes coming in for landings. I guess if you time it right on a Sunday you can see some planes take off or come in... but I don't think it would be worth it to come and eat at the cafe just anytime... it could be very boring!

This cafe is at the small Quakertown Airport right near our house. The kiddos really got excited about seeing the planes lift off and come in! We also found out when they turn seven they can have a complimentary ride with a pilot! That is pretty neat!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!

I can't believe Morgan is 5!!!  I feel like I say that every year - but time really does fly!  It has been an amazing year!

Dear Morgan,
Besides your hair growing another few inches and you growing taller, your brain keeps on absorbing so much!  You soak in everything around you and are learning and retaining new information everyday!

You know your address and recite it on command.  You love playing the rhyming game!  You say a word and start naming word after word that rhyme.  Some that are real words and some that are made up.  You can write your name with lower case letters and can easily write your last name too!  You can spell and write the words: love, no, Momma, Daddy, Pop Pop, and MeMom from memory!  Way to go!

You started ballet this year and saying you love it is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!  You dance around the house and are always practicing your new skills.  Your dancing and singing warms my heart!

You are such a kind, sweet, and loving sister to RJ!  You think of him and share your most special things with him.  Almost everyday at school you save part of your special treat and give him half after school!  All the other kids gobbled up their yummies, but you clearly articulated some would be saved for RJ.  It just melts my heart.

Your favorite things continue to be princesses and anything girlie!!  You want long hair like Rapunzel and would wear a dress everyday if I let you!

You are telling me more about what you do at school and you have made many new friends.  This year you get homework and you love to do it!  You often ask to do more or do extra touches to the homework you are given.

You love making crafts!  You take your time and your projects come out beautiful!  Although not always symmetrical they are all still obvious of thought!

This year you have learned what chores are.  Your chores include: letting the dogs out, making your bed, and helping to empty the dishwasher.  You are also starting to clear your own supper plate.  You are being taught the importance of saving money and we together are filling your piggy bank with quarters for doing your chores and trying your best to follow the house rules.

You definitely have your own little personality too!  You have learned how to tattle tale, say no to requests, and have begun to tell us you don't need a nap.  (Don't worry... you still take them almost everyday!)  Your favorite question in the car is, "How many minutes until we get there?"

Peanut, you have had an amazing year of growth and I love you more and more each day!  You inspire me and amaze me everyday.  I can't wait to see what your next year brings!

Happy 5th birthday baby girl.  I love you!
Momma

Date Night

Bob and I went out for a date night while Grandmom stayed home and watched the kids. Lucky us, we got a couple hours out without the kiddos!! We went into King of Prussia to run an errand and then we went to a newly opened seafood restaurant. It was very hippie-ish and a little loud because it reminded me of a big warehouse inside. Food was a little bit expensive, but tasty! (I was told that the restaurant is a chain down south and is moving into the northern region.) I was a little grouchy tonight... and PS the waiter tied our bibs on... we were given no choice. That made my night... Can you read the sarcasm in my picture?

Enjoy that cookie?

Holy Moly, Macaroni! Did you eat that cookie or design your face?
...and Morgan ate her cookies more like a lady with just a few crumbs!
