Wow-2!

Check you out in the AM! All smiles!!

Out to supper at Red Robin for RJ's second birthday!

I can't believe you are two already RJ! Time has flown by!! You once needed me for everything, and yet within a year you have become your own person and have your own personality! You are a very STUBBORN little guy! When you want something, you want it YOUR way!! You are not easy to pursue once you have made up your mind!

You absolutely LOVE your big sister! You follow her around and want everything she wants! You watch all her princess movies with her and do princess dances with her! You love to dance with her, running around in circles, and falling down! You are a sight for sore eyes!!

You have already stopped making a loud noise kiss, but the typical 'adult' kiss has been replaced.

You have stopped your signs, but your language is slow to develop. You have several words that are absolutely clear but Daddy and I are a little concerned that you aren't talking more yet! I am hoping it just clicks for you like it did for Morgan! Daddy is a bit more worried than I am! But we both just want you to talk, so that you can tell us what you want clearly! That way you will get less frustrated and angry with us! You do get your point across, and if nothing else take us to what you want!

Some of your spontaneous words include, "Momma, Mommy, Daddy, MeMom, Uh-Oh, Wow, Morgan, PopPop, shoes, milk, chip, no, and book." You do not yet combine two words together into utterances.

You currently absolutely LOVE Scooby Doo right now! You love to say, "Scooby Doo, Where are you?" Each sound may not be perfect, but it sounds the same every time it comes out of your mouth!

You know where we keep the snacks and you LOVE to help yourself to pretzels! Like Daddy, like Son!

You are my little boy!! I love you so much!! Even with your little temper tantrums I don't know what my life would be like without you! Happy 2nd birthday Bubba!

Here a few pictures from our outing to Red Robin to celebrate you! You weren't too cooperative, but we enjoyed celebrating the day you were born! I love you!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBA!

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE TWO!!! WOW... THESE TWO YEARS HAVE FLOWN BY!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND YOU ARE SUCH A WONDERFUL PART OF OUR FAMILY!! I love you!!! More to come later!

Asher's Fall Fun & a Campfire

We ran over to Asher's Chocolates today for their free fall fest! It was a rough outing for the fam... Morgan was a little grouchy and RJ wanted to control the entire situation! Without using much understandable English it is hard to control anything!! We did ok until we got their arms painted by the clown... RJ couldn't understand why he couldn't get something painted on his other arm too and threw an all out temper tantrum because the clown did not paint his other arm. (now, couldn't the clown have drawn a two second flower, or even smiley face on his other arm? But nope, one per customer, we could get back in line if we wanted too... but by then it was TOO late!) RJ refused to eat a hot dog for lunch, his favorite food! Ugh. A little stressful for me! It is slightly embarrassing when your child is screaming hysterically when there is NOTHING wrong. I love you RJ, but golly jeez... please, please, please become a little more flexible!!

Tonight we had our first ever Streamview Camp Out! Bob had to work so I was on my own! Needless to say even though Morgan was VERY upset, we did not camp out overnight. We went and enjoyed our neighbors company for several hours, enjoyed the campfire, and ate some s'mores... well actually only the chocolate. Morgan and RJ only wanted to eat the chocolate, go figure!! We had a really nice time! I love the smell of campfire on my clothes and in my hair! Fall is in the air!

Surgery

Daddy had his Lasik surgery today! Praying all has gone well and that his vision will be awesome with no more glasses or contacts for a few years... until reading glasses hit!

Beloved...

Beloved table toys! Both kiddos loved these tables, but it is time to put them away. Since RJ's birthday is coming I tried to clean out some of the old toys. RJ still plays with these tables occasionally, but I need to stop being a pack rat and let my babies grow up and move to bigger (and better) toys! *sigh*

P-Party & the FEST

The Giampa girls had a princess party! Lucky me!! Morgan loved it and wore her sparkly dress that Aunt Megan gave her. Any opportunity to wear that dress she does, I think Aunt Megan should have bought her two!! RJ wasn't so interested in the princess part, but had a blast on the playground! He attempted the arts and crafts, but wasn't too successful, got frustrated, and was removed from the area! Sorry Bubba, can't always get your way, especially if it isn't YOUR party!!

We left the girls' party a little early and raced into West Chester for the restaurant festival. It is something Bob likes to attend every year. It is pretty neat! All the restaurant's on the main road in town put booths out on the road and the roads are blocked. Lots of delicious food, crafters, and live bands! It was a lot of fun. We forgot to take a picture in the actual fest, so we took a picture with this cool cannon that looked really old, near where we parked!

All strapped in and heading home after a fun, busy day!!

Jeff Daniel's Jeep Show!

Today was the Jeff Daniel's Jeep Show in Harleysville. It was a lot of fun! The kids enjoyed watching the jeeps on the obstacle course (for lack of better term... it was mud pits and large hills, bumps and ruts), jumping in the moon bounce, looking at all the jeeps (there were over a hundred at least), side note: Morgan liked the purple jeep the best!, eating yummy food, and watching the fireworks. It was a great day! Outside all day long! Gorgeous weather and family time!

We also ran into my childhood friend Kelly with her two little ones there! Strange place to see her!! It was nice, we got to visit while the kids played! I also ran into an acquaintance from high school! Small world!!

Lazy Sunday

Bob worked this weekend, so today we decided to just hang around and relax. A few neat pictures of the dogs, and playing in the sand! Nothing to exciting to report today! Sometimes you just need a relaxing day... if you call watching two munchkins, cleaning up the house, doing dishes, and doing laundry relaxing... ha! Today I am thankful for my family and my country and have taken extra time today to count my blessings. God Bless everyone on September 11 that has felt heartache!

Survival Bag

I forgot to mention yesterday... I got a Survival Bag from Morgan's teacher when I dropped her off! I have heard about them and learned about them in classes, but to be given one... thought it was such a sweet gesture!
Biblical versus, a few tissues, and some hugs&kisses!

FIRST REAL DAY

I was blessed to have off for the Jewish holiday today so I got to take Morgan for her first official day of school!! (That was one bonus about enrolling her in a Christian school!)

I thought I would be sad, but it was too 'crazy' in the morning to think about being sad! Getting her, RJ, and myself dressed, fed, and out the door in time! I should have waken her up earlier than I did, but I didn't want to wake her up too early...

I hope she likes her teacher! She would not tell me anything about her day!! She just said, "I don't remember Momma," or "I forget." NICE! That isn't supposed to start until middle school, right?!

She didn't leave me crying or act like she was miserable, so I'm assuming she had a great time! (At least I hope she did!) Her teacher Mrs. Thomas said she was well behaved and got along well with the other students!

Finally by suppertime she did tell me she did hula-hooping in gym. Yea! At least she told me something... oh... and that she liked playing outside on the playground... but I don't know what she played on, just that she played outside!

I love you Morgan... but I hope you share more next week!! I want to share in your new experiences!

Morgan was excited, RJ... he was not so happy his big sis was leaving him!
Mrs. Thomas and Morgan

Morgan, I want to let you know I was a VERY nice Momma and bought you this pink and purple and sparkly PRINCESS backpack! Not my thing... but because I love you I bought it for you because YOU loved it!
