Fun - fun - fun!!! NOT?

Morgan had a blast today! She had two parties back to back!
Her first party was for one of her 'best' (used very loosely) friends from her class last year. The party was held at the girl's home so Morgan got to wear a 'beautiful dress' (Morgan term)! Arts and crafts, pinata, pizza, candy, and cake! How could a gal go wrong?! For the second party, it was a quick switch-a-roo in the car from pretty party dress to jumping, running, and bouncing clothes! The girl is in her class this year. Off to a moon bounce place for her second party! Crazy amounts of running and bouncing occurred, followed by more pizza and cake!

Soy Sauce Obsession?

I have heard of many different types of obsessions. I know that kiddos pick their favorite foods and stick with them. (Except in my house where they are FORCED to try other types of foods.) But, I think RJ has found a new obsession!! SOY SAUCE! He goes into the fridge and wants to put soy sauce on EVERYTHING! It started with his rice. (Thanks to Daddy for introducing him to that!) Then he wanted to put soy sauce on his noddles, on his steak, on his sandwich, and finally on his pancakes? Really, pancakes? Yuck!

What a silly boy I have! This too will pass!

A quick glimpse

A quick glimpse at Morgan's FIRST ballet costume... she was SO excited!!! She also got her third certificate for making good choices, paying attention, listening and trying her best!

Asher's Easter Egg Hunt!

Today we went to Asher's for their Easter Egg hunt. This year Morgan was in the 'big kid' group and RJ was in the 'little kid' group. RJ had company with Felicity and Morgan had company with the Giampa girls.

Forecast called for rain so we all had fingers crossed that it would hold out for the hunt. It was a bit windy, but we made it through the hunts without a drop of rain! Whew!! Both RJ and Morgan did great. It is fun to see how literal they are! I told them to pick up as many eggs as they could. There were other things on the ground too (chocolate covered pretzels, jelly beans, etc) and neither of them picked up anything BUT plastic eggs! Too funny!! I LOVE my kiddos. Lots of fun had by all!!

So excited to report that all our trees (that we planted last summer) seem to be budding and flowering! Yea! Let's hope they make it through this summer!!

This weather is crazy!! I don't mind the temperatures... warm enough for short sleeves during the day and a jacket/sweatshirt at night... I just hope and pray this isn't the start of an extremely HOT summer to come. That would be horrible!
