Claire’s State Champs!

Claire’s fun surprise! Us!!  We drove down to Maryland to surprise Claire and Aunt Meggie!  They had no clue we were coming.  We got to see Claire's last competition of the season - States!  She did great!  We are so proud of her!!

Morgan earned a Q-Rock award.  I'm really unsure of what it is but I do know it is part of the behavior system at the high school.  This time the reward associated with getting a Q-Rock was a Rita's Water Ice.

Take Your Child To Work - RJ Version

I got to bring RJ to school with me today for bring your child to work day!  It was fun to show him what I do!  He wasn't happy that I actually made him help me, but hey - I wasn't going to let him be on his phone the whole time... because what would the point of coming to my school with me be then?

Bob put an add on Facebook Marketplace - you dig them, they are yours free!  He got a bunch of 'offers' and so one dude came but I think he underestimated how hard it would be... then a second guy came and took the remaining.  Gone!  Just like that!  All those years of growing down to empty space!  What a difference!  I don't like change but I have to agree they were getting super tall and blocking not only the sidewalk but the windows too!

Morgan’s Spring Band Concert

Morgan's High School Spring Band Concert!  So proud of my girl!  Her first year and she has played in the hardest band all year!  As a freshman being chosen for this band was such an honor AND she has even played some Clarinet 1!!  She EVEN had a solo in one song during this concert!  I am so thrilled for her musical success so far!!

RJ's last community hunt!

At the last minute RJ remembered to ask about our local Easter Egg hunt.  Sadly it was ages 10-12 but shhh... I let him do the hunt because it wasn't too crowded and he lost 2 years due to COVID.  So he had fun one last time!  (How is he too old to do hunts now... wow, time flies!!)
