Swim-Tomato-Beans-Project

Today was full of aggravation for me!

Up bright and early for swim practice. Left the house around 7:10, home around 11:00. Gulp!

RJ really wanted to go to the pool because a friend would be there so I told him to complete his (easy and daily) chores. He just would not let up - yelling at me, talking back, and refusing to do anything. When he starts giving me ultimatums I get angry!

Morgan was doing nothing but being glued to her phone. Not doing her chores- just in her own phone world. Not listening to me either.

I got frustrated and left. I drive to a local park and sat for two hours. I watched some comedian acts on my phone. When the kids push my buttons to the extreme I just can’t take it. Patience has NEVER been and is still NOT my forte. I pray for more and some days I get it and some days I feel like I have less than I normally do! Gah! Today was one of those days!!

I got back and *some of their chores were done. Then I get guilt because with no electronics RJ has no connection to other boys/friends. So I took him to the pool, of course Morgan didn’t want to go.  There were a bunch of kids there he knew so he had fun.

We got home and RJ had his trumpet lesson and then was invited to go to the local swimming hole with the neighbor. He of course wanted to co and had a fun time.

I worked in my garden. I enjoy my garden. Morgan enjoyed our first sweet cherry tomato! She reported Yummy!

Supper made by me since Bob was working. I made turkey tenders with ranch pasta salad and Lima beans.  Well I made them in the microwave, pulled them out and.... EEWWWW

CLOSER look... oh my goodness

How is there a dead bug in the beans! Yucko!

Project I completed with RJ doing parts I told him to put together (he really wanted to help!)

TA-DA!
