We came home got dressed up in our Phillies attire and off we headed to the ball game! WELL... due to an accident at 6am on I-95 (and we left our house at 11:00am) we SAT... not even crawled... but sat in traffic FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We finally parked and got a standing room only ticket to the game. Two season tickets plus standing room = we all make it into the game! As we were standing in line to be 'checked' before entering the stadium we heard the national anthem. I decided to let the kiddos play in the Phanatic Phun Zone for a little bit because they were SUPER good on our 3 hour ride. As they played I watched the TV in the zone... first inning...5-0. By the middle of the third inning (still watching on the TV) 9-0. Oh my! We got some face paint and headed to our seats in the 3rd sometime. Needless to say the final score was 14-2, a terrible Phillies loss...but at least we had fun! Then we headed home... only 1.5 hours... I'll take it!

We played the alphabet game for a while first... We are going to a picnic and bringing A - Apples... then going to a party and bringing... then kiddos got hungry so we grabbed the pretzels we had bought at WaWa before our trip. What letter or number did I make?

Megan what is NOT funny is Beth sitting in all that traffic knowing I was already down at the stadium 2 hours (12:30) before the game started and left an hour later (12:00) then they did! I felt soooo bad and wished I had a magic wand that could make the traffic on 95 disappear!!!!! :-(
The picture is REALLY cute though and I'm glad they could make the best and have a little fun in a NOT fun situation! ;)
