Night Swim!

After we got back to our hotel around 7 pm we had some pool time. We all got into the pool to cool off! We all had a blast... around 9:20 the lifeguard saw lightening and we all had to get out! Here are some fun pictures! The pool was great! Not only a pool, but a little kid area too!
Two minutes to ourselves as we watch our beautiful children have fun!!

Water at D.W.

There was a small water area at Dutch Wonderland. The kiddos had a blast cooling off. So did Daddy! I stood back (sweating) and took the pictures! I didn't want to have to lotion up everywhere... but I did get my legs wet!

RJ LOVED these water squirter thingies that were all over the water park area! The water would shoot up, then stop, then shoot up, then stop... you get the idea. He loved the idea of surprise and continued to play with the water hole even after being squirted in the face many times!!
Look closely at this picture!!
(specifically at his face...)

Duke the Dragon and his friends held a dance party in the water park. Morgan loved dancing along to the songs (Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, Hokey Pokey, etc) and EVEN got a picture with DUKE! I was SHOCKED!! I guess anyone can get over fear!!! I never thought she would get over her fear of big walking creatures!

RJ loved this water slide. He had trouble understanding the concept of taking turns, but he probably went down this slide at least 10 times!!

FINALLY Morgan said she would try it... she had to be persuaded a lot!! After she went on it once, she liked it, she 'really liked it' and went on several more times!
For the hour and a half in the water park area the kids and Bob got cooled off and had a great time getting wet! It looked like fun if you were under the age of 10!

Who Are We?

Funny story about the spaceman display... earlier in the day before we got to this section of rides we saw a little boy that got his head stuck and there were workers all around him trying to free him! I was wondering if they were going to have to cut the wood... or use butter to slide his head free! Thank goodness for small-headed kiddos! *smiles*

Dutch Wonderland and more!

And we are off! We picked a hot day to head, but it won't stop us from having fun!! I will separate the pictures into different posts so I can post lots of pictures!
