Heath Reunion & Cousins

Today was the annual Heath Family Reunion. Unfortunately not many people came, but it was nice to cost with who was there - especially nice to see Joan as she is turning 89 soon!

It was nice to have immediate cousin time too!!

Most likely Morgan’s classes for 9th grade!  Not only all honors or AP classes but she made Wind Symphony!  Very FEW 9th graders are good enough to make it into Wind Symphony!  Way to go girlie!

RJ's school work

Apparently RJ had homework to do... it was hard!  Deciding where to put comma's in sentences.  RJ's sentence had to match the sentence the computer created with commas. You had to get several in a row correct before moving to the next 'level' and if you missed one you started back at the beginning. I gave up and Morgan started helping him!  I got a kick out of this sentence that used his name!

Among Us is a game that was very popular during Quarantine. You play with many other people and need to do ‘tasks’ and figure out who the imposter is before the imposter kills you.  All on iPhones or iPads.

Beach day!

 Gorgeous day for the beach! I started with a cup of coffee relaxing on the front porch!

It was so needed, and I was very grateful that Bob drove me to the boardwalk edge and picked me up afterwards... I am still walking at turtle's pace!  The beach was beautiful and the girls loved it!  RJ dug with his toys and had a great time too.  I didn't move much and Bob suntaned my legs, so hoping he did a good job!

Longest drive EVER

Today we left for our first weekend at MeMom and Pop Pop's beach house!  We got out of the house around 3:30pm - here we go!

Not even 10 minutes into our ride we hit traffic!  SLOW traffic... stop and go traffic... not a good sign to start our trip!

We saw not only ONE, but TWO different rainbows as we drove in the continuing SLOW traffic

THEN... on top of slow traffic - INSANE rain began!

7:25pm we rolled into the beach house... still in the pouring rain!  Ugh!  At least we made it safe and sound, but holy moly, the longest drive ever!!

 Today a package was delivered... I wondered what it was... of course RJ wanted to open it!

Thank you Mrs. K, Momma's roomie at school for a quick - no prep needed supper!  So thoughtful!

Pups - naughty

I ran upstairs to help Morgan and get her the clarinet mask she forgot at home for MeMom and Pop Pop to pick up.  I come down to this... ugh!  Were they being spiteful?!  Seriously dogs - I was only upstairs for a few minutes. I had to carefully get onto the floor and clean it up the best I could.  Times like these I wonder why we have dogs!  Ugh.
