After Dutch Wonderland...

After leaving Dutch Wonderland we checked into our hotel to quickly change into swimsuits and head out to the awesome outdoor pool.  (The indoor pool was PACKED, so we attempted outside.)  The outside pool was heated to 82 degrees... so once you got in it felt great... the getting out part wasn't so great!!  The temperature had dropped, probably to around 62 and there was a cold breeze blowing.  All of us getting out of the pool to eat our supper poolside was probably a sight for sore eyes!  We each had a pool towel (thin, like paper) and were trying to eat through chattering lips, shivering, and goose bumps!!  We all got our food into our bodies and then the kiddos wanted to go back into the pool.  Daddy and I decided to watch.

After Morgan and RJ couldn't take the chilly anymore we spent a little bit of time on the playground (also on hotel grounds).  It was set up as two boats so the kiddos thought that was pretty cool!

Then we decided to practice our putting on the putting green. We had fun with that for a few minutes... thank goodness no one else was truly practicing so the we could all 'play' mini golf without distracting a serious practicing golfer!

The end of a fabulous, wonderful, spectacular day with the family!!
