A friend date!

I went out for the afternoon with a friend. We enjoyed a nice time and had a few drinks. She drove so I was able to enjoy the spirits and friendship!

RJ was bored because I took away his electronics... he enjoyed time playing with Duke!

Closet - FINALLY done! Wahoo!

It only took... a year... but it is done! Yay! I bought both the shoe rack and the dresser and measured the other side for the hanging clothes section. I measured what size we needed for the shelf and with help from both Morgan (for building the right side) and Dad (building of the hanging clothes side) the closet is officially finished! Again, wahoo!!

NOW...Morgan needs to de-closet the entire guest room and use her own brand.new.closet. Any bets, how long will that take?

Happy 4th!

Today both kids had to work. RJ worked a full day 11-8 and Morgan worked 10-4. Bob worked 11-4. I went to the pool with RJ at 11 and left with Morgan around 4. A little sunburn but it was nice to just sit and relax although I couldn't get my brain to turn off... really wanted to take a nap but just didn't happen.

We watched the fireworks just in the nick of time before torrential downpours hit.

Grad Present Extraordinaire!

What an awesome idea for a grad present… got a tad bit pricey but when you have special place in your heart for the receiver money doesn’t matter…

RJ's haircut!

RJ decided he wanted not only a haircut but a perm! Morgan set up an appointment with her hairdresser and here we are! Thank you to Morgan for setting up the appointment and taking some photos before I got there.

Number 5 - done!

RJ completed his 5th swim meet. Only 3 to go! He isn't fighting me as much because he has a couple friends this year on the team so that works out for him and me!
