Claire's Confirmation Retreat (Aunt Beth fill in for Morgan)

Claire's Confirmation practice was nice but kinda silly that I had to be there to replace Morgan. Megan could have easily stepped in as many other parents of the kiddos were the 'fill-ins.' Claire wanted to goof off with her friends more than hang with me anyway but at least I was there and it will be a memory forever because I'm blogging it, hehe. After the confirmation retreat the Schultz family took me out to eat before I headed home.

Snow!

First small snow of the season!
Hopefully the first of many!

Lock-in - with QMPO flare!

Lock-In was a hit this year! All the kiddos had a great time, the entertainment was pretty good and no injuries so I would say it was a win across the board! I did notice more kids sleeping this year... I know RJ had a great time and that is all that truly matters (to me).

Lined up and ready to go home and SLEEP!

Family Outing

We all went out as a family to Olive Garden one more time before Morgan heads back to school. Of course, Waylen was invited to join us too. Bitter sweet - this break with Morgan home went way too fast!

New Year's Eve

We were able to do our traditional New Year's Eve outing. First stop, ice skating... followed by downtown and fireworks at 6pm. It was a fun day out! Sadly Wannamaker's closed the weekend before so we weren't able to see the tree light show with the organ and the Scrooge exhibit. We were able to watch the PPL show.

This year was different... Morgan asked to go to a friends (with Waylen) for the countdown to the New Year. I let her go but it was super sad not to have her at home. I feel like every time I turn around she is becoming more and more independent and doesn't need to need or want me anymore.
