Pole Vault success!!

Today was a horrible, rainy day - but there was a track meet AND it wasn't cancelled.  So off Morgan went and I picked up MeMom and we went to watch her pole vault. Good luck kiddo!

PS...she scored a gold medal!  Wahoo!!

And MeMom asked if we could go to a craft fair on the way home and Morgan said sure...

Morgan - finals!

I had a conference day so I decided to leave from school and finish my conference while driving and attending her meet.  She was so surprised to see me!! Sadly she tried her best but didn’t get over the 6 foot pole.  It was raining.  She cried. I tried to comfort her. I know that feeling of defeat. And embarrassment. It stinks. There was nothing I could do or say to make her feel better. She tried her best! I’m so proud of her! She tried something new and made it to champs her freshman year! She always amazes me and I couldn’t be more proud of her!
