Ice Cream break needed

Yup, ice cream needed on the first night of the first day of school, lol

The kiddos decided to take Willow for a ride. They got themselves ice cream so they also treated the puppy.

Freddy Hill fun!

Today we headed for some mini golf and ice cream treat!  Thank goodness RJ found a friend to go with him so it was Morgan and Macen, RJ and his friend Everett.  I didn't play.  I took a couple photos then sat and did some random school work.  It was so sweet (and kind) - Macen wanted to pay for Morgan.  He was a gentleman!  

These kiddos were so silly... it took over 10 photos to find one they both liked, lol

This was the best one - but they both still didn't love it... oh well

Quick date night

We took Bob’s toy - the MR2 out to the local ice cream shop, Spors. As we were enjoying an ice cream treat together...

...our sweet daughter texted that she was freezing and needed a sweatshirt.  I asked her if she wanted mine? Yup... as soon as possible please! What a Momma does for her children! Literally giving her the shirt off my back!

Bike ride for Ice cream!

Tonight we took a ride into 'town' to the local ma-pa shop and got us some ice cream!  RJ was a little scared that he had to drive on the road for a little bit... BUT he didn't fall and more importantly he didn't get run over!  Score-score!  Momma was the caboose so she would have been hit first, lol!

RJ loved it b/c of the salt, Morgan and I agree, a little less salt next time!

Outside fun!

Today we finished up Vacation Bible School.  The kiddos sang a couple songs for us at the end of the day today.  It was sweet!

After VBS we headed to Freddy Hill.  Freddy Hill allowed us to play miniature golf, see farm animals, and get a little sweet afternoon treat!  We (obviously) didn't keep track as we played because our stroke numbers would have been off the charts high... it was/is all about fun!

Later in the evening Bob gave the kiddos wagon rides pulled by the tractor before enjoying another camp fire!

 

Lots of fresh air for us today!!

Day of Fun!

Today we did our household chores then drove out to the school (in the middle of the woods...literally) for RJ's first summer speech session.

After his speech session we headed to the pool for a little bit of fun and swim!

After supper we hopped into the jeep and headed for a sweet dessert!  Yummy!!
