Movie time

A big thank you to MeMom and Pop Pop for taking us to the movies... we got to see the 'real people' version of Beauty and the Beast.  It was a great remake of the cartoon version although I felt there were a couple parts that were changed or left out that I would have liked from the original!

Quick night out

Tonight Bob and I went out.  Last minute he asked his mom and she was available to come sit. We went to a local ma/pa restaurant but had to wait over an hour for a table.  ugh.  We shared a drink and enjoyed supper (finally) together.  After supper we headed to a local brewery.  First time I had been there.  The atmosphere was nice... open roof and floor plan.  Lots of samplers.

I couldn't stand looking at the door frame anymore... so with a little soap, a lot of manpower, and much determination... the final outcome!

Happy St Patty's Day!

Fun afternoon out!  Bob couldn't take off early after all the time he took over the week due to the snow, but I took a half day and I was out to enjoy myself!  (Got a few drinks bought by a few police pals, it's all good!!)  Good times!

RJ - sing your heart out!

RJ had his Second Grade concert tonight.  It was a great production... after the initial shenanigans!  The concert had to be rescheduled to tonight because of snow and we were scheduled after another elementary school's performance (they were held at the high school).  Well... as the other elementary school was letting out of the auditorium and we were waiting (kind-of) patiently to go in and get our seats... the fire alarm goes off!!!  Everyone had to leave the building... I put my coat down on seats because I wasn't going to give up my good row after waiting and all the nonsense... so for almost 45 minutes I basically froze outside waiting for the all clear -- BUT we had good seats!  That was all that matters!

RJ did great!  He appeared to be singing to all the songs and completed all the actions of the songs.  The music teacher really put together a great show and all the kiddos did fantastic!

Irish Candy... yum!

A yearly tradition... I always enjoy making (and eating) Irish Potatoes!  The process is super easy, but makes for tired little arms... especially with making big batches so that everyone can enjoy them before they are all gone!!

 When arms get tired Momma finishes up... this is how Daddy rolls until it's time for taste testing! :)

March Snowfall

I love snow, have I ever mentioned that?!  I enjoy everything about it... well, except maybe shoveling it by hand over and over during insane snow... but, in general I really enjoy watching snow come down, playing in it, and often times having a day off :)

Since we got cleared out and still had some time before dark... we drove over to a local hill and the kiddos had fun going down, comin back up... a bit tougher, but I think we all had fun on the hill!

Wrestling Banquet

Tonight concluded wrestling with a nice banquet.  It would have been better if we knew more people and could have sat with people we knew, but it was still a nice production the organization put together.

We won't talk about the fact that as RJ entered the house with his awesome trophy he snapped off the year... super glue to the rescue (with some added tears!)!

Bob's Association Supper!

Tonight was Bob's Association Supper out with all the police guys.  It was a nice turn out, although none of the 'brass' came.  It was nice to chat with all the wives!  The appetizers were yummy, the drinks were tasty, but the food took forever to come... ordered at 8pm and didn't come out until 9:30... and was only so-so.  It is the company that counts, right?!

Closet FINALLY finished!

After a couple year hiatus... the other side of my closet is finally finished!  It went a little bit quicker this time as we remembered somewhat of how to do it and didn't have to recreate the wheel!  Here are some pictures of the construction and the final product!  Go us! So proud that we worked together peacefully (most of the time), are still married (lol), and the end product looks awesome!
