Ballet walk

While Morgan is at ballet I take walks, and found this awesome trail about a mile from ballet.  I do get a little worried I may get lost, but hey - I'll find my way back, lol!

Era totally done

Today Morgan did a complete clean out of her room. This pile of things truly brought a tear to my eye.  Morgan is sooo good at ballet but the right teacher is everything I guess!  She has been taking class once a week for this year but it is a battle every week and the entire ride to and from Morgan disconnects from me and doesn't talk.  I pray and hope that she can find another activity that she can excel at just as she has in ballet.  Breaks my heart, but being the mom I need to also let her do what makes her happy and she has commented, "Ballet just doesn't make me happy anymore. I don't enjoy it."  Again, even thought it breaks my heart, I can't make Morgan do something she truly does not enjoy!  Here's to the next era in her life!

Ballet Observation

So happy to get to observe Morgan at ballet this week.  I really enjoy watching how much she has grown in her 'sport'!  She absolutely loves what she is doing and has learned so much!  It is amazing to see how she knows all these new ballet words and following multi-step directions!

Ash Wednesday

Today was a busy day... instead of prep we were expected to attend Ash Wednesday church that started at 4:30.  Thank goodness Bob got the kiddos there and I went straight from school.  After church (1.5 hours long!) I took Morgan to dance, and I joined my Pilates class as RJ did his homework.  Bob had to do one of his panels...

We got home at our usual time... 7:45.  The kiddos ate mac and cheese and I had a heaping bowl of oatmeal with cranberries, my one and only meal today.  It sure tasted yummy! (I was a bit... STARVING!!!)

Ballet Observation

Tonight was a night to observe ballet.  I have not been watching ballet much these days... Morgan doesn't really want me to watch so I haven't been... but I do like to watch still!!!  She seems to be doing very well!  She truly loves her teacher, so that makes everything work!

Tonight MeMom got to see Morgan in action at dance!  Morgan was so excited she could watch tonight.  RJ and I also sat and watched.  Most of the time RJ played on the Ipad (it kept him quiet!) but I did snap a few pictures... although they are a little blurry, better than nothing!

After ballet Morgan, RJ, and I treated MeMom and Pop Pop to Red Robin since Daddy is in Atlantic City for a training.  After supper MeMom and Pop Pop took the kiddos home for a sleepover and Nickel and I got the house to ourselves.  Should have gone to bed by now... but for some reason I am still up.  Ugh.
