Guess who lost her second tooth last night?! Yuppers -- Morgan!! It was a bit of a 'traumatic' ordeal...
Let's run through the events of last night... Morgan had her last day of soccer, then we headed to drop off my car for repairs. It was late... and we had not eaten supper yet... so we stopped at a pizzeria. They served complimentary bruschetta. She took one bite and started to cry. (Her tooth has been pretty wiggly.) It started to bleed just a little... then the tears started... and DID.NOT.STOP! She was sighing and crying throughout the entire supper (which was delicious!) and would not eat one bite of her mac-n-cheese because it hurt too much. (On a side note... RJ ate his ENTIRE plate of noodles, you go kiddo!)
We stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home. Of course, Morgan had no problem eating her entire (mini) blizzard! She was starving after all! As we were driving home she kept saying her tooth hurt. I kept asking her if she wanted me to pull it out. (That would be fun!) Screaming 'NO' was her consistent answer!!
We pulled into our development and stopped to get the mail. As soon as I got out of the car to get the mail I hear nervous giggling from Morgan and then... "I pulled it out." Sure enough she yanked that tooth out! Good girl!!!
Tooth fairy will arrive pronto! We got home and secured her tooth in it's tooth fairy resting place... in a little treasure chest inside a 'tooth' pillow hanging on her bureau! I asked her if we should keep her door cracked (as our handles to our doors are very loud!!!) and she answered, "Silly Momma, the tooth fairy is magic and will probably come in the window." Duh... I forgot she comes through the window! You are right Morgan, the window!!
Off to sleep (LATE) we all went. This morning she awoke to find a gold coin and two dimes! One dime for each tooth she has lost! Lucky little girl!
