Face Time, huh?

On Tuesday night after an hour of Megan trying to explain to me how to set up my Face Time I finally figured it out... apparently I am a bit clueless OR the system was messing with me... I got Face Time set up!  Yea!  Megan got to chat with Morgan, RJ, Felicity and Lucas for five minutes before their attention span was done.  It was fun to be able to see Megan in real time.

On Wednesday night Morgan asked to Face Time with Aunt Meggie so she could read her books.  Morgan read and read AND read.  Over an hour later (and after Uncle Andy had already gone to bed) Aunt Meggie told Morgan they should probably stop their conversation.  Holy cow... do I have a mini diva on my  hands already?  It was nice to see Morgan reading to someone else other than me though and she was just so darn excited and cute!

I am afraid Aunt Meggie might be in trouble...and future calls will be in store!  I am thinking when I ask Morgan to read to me she might ask to read to Aunt Meggie instead... we shall see :)

Technology is awesome!
First shot is RJ being silly and saying hi to Aunt Meggie...

Such a happy Morgan!

Dance Party - take 1

Morgan is LOVING to dance (STILL).  She was sharing some awesome moves for us tonight!  (A.Meggie, can you believe this dress STILL fits her?  A bit shorter...but still one of her favorites!)

Not sure about this move...hmmm...
Someone crashed the dance party...

Farm Show Visit

This may be the last year Daddy gets to take the kiddos together since Morgan starts school full time next year.  Looks like they had fun!

The Cold has come.

The Cold has entered our residence in both ways....

Temperature has plummeted... it is about time, next I need some more snow

On Saturday morning both Morgan and RJ woke up with GROSS yucky colds.  Sigh.  Sneezing, coughing, and a lot of snot.  I feel a little snotty but have washed my hands so much that they are starting to crack.  BUT I will take a cold.... fingers crossed we don't get something else more gross... no explanation needed.

2013 Wordless Work Wednesday - 1

New title for 2013!  The new title explains what will be happening here on Wednesdays!  I will 'showcase' Morgan and RJ's school work!  I can't possibly keep everything they do or make but I can take pictures!  So throughout the year Wednesday will be my day to display their work... the good, the bad...and the ugly :)

Enjoy your first installment!

RJ's finest work!

Happy New Year's Eve!

We ended up going to a friend of Bob's for New Year's Eve.  He works for a different police department and Bob became friends with him after working with him on the Juvenile Panel.  He and his wife live on the other side of Quakertown from us and have four children.  All boys!  Twin 3rd graders, an almost 5 year old and a 1 year old.
When we got over to their home one other family was there as well but they left by 7:30 to get home and put their kids to bed.  It was neat to talk with the woman because she was a SLP in an adult rehab facility.  But I thought it was kind-of strange that they HAD to get their kids to bed.  But Melanie and Aaron told us that the couple is very strict about naps/bedtime.

We had a nice time throughout the evening.  Although Morgan was the only girl she played by herself or fit in with the four year old.  The third graders were not into 'playing' they just wanted to 'hang out'... and so it starts!

All of the kiddos (except the 1-year-old) made it up to see midnight!
Wow!  Go kiddos!
Tired kiddos tomorrow I have a feeling!
Happy New Year!!

Sweet Hershey & Lights

We headed to Hershey today.  Bob got free tickets to the park (NOT to the light display) from an old friend from high school who is now an engineer at the park.

Above are the rides...

The kids had a really good time, hitting all the kiddie rides (which were the only ones open).  Bob and I froze.  That might be an understatement!!!

Below are some shots from the light show...

We left around one and didn't get home until 9:30-10ish... long day for the kiddos (and me)!
