Rides, rides, and more rides!

As the following pictures show... we had lots of fun on the rides every night! A few rides every night kept things under control. Rather than rides all in one night we spread it out... RJ's favorite was the choo-choo rides, Morgan liked the train rides, the merry-go-round, and the car whip ride. She was happy for whatever rides she got to go on!!

Catching up on the beach...

Everyday the kiddos each took a nap on the beach. Each of them had their days that they fought it, but most days RJ and Felicity were taken for a walk on the shoulder and fell asleep, and sweet (so well behaved) little girl Morgan laid down on the blanket and fell asleep. The naps really helped for the rest of the night! Less whining and complaining with their naps on the beach!

I on the other hand didn't get much napping in... those kiddos always kept me on my toes!

Sand play!

I decided that instead of describing the vacation by day, I will describe it by activity... sand play, sleeping, rides, etc... I think that will better capture the fun we had!! Enjoy our week in snapshots!! I love the beach and miss it already!! Morgan and RJ LOVED digging in the wet sand! For a majority of the vacation they played in the sand right around the water's edge. They loved digging holes, making droopy-snoopy-doopy sand castles, and building sand castles. They played so nicely together and also let Felicity play with them too! I really enjoyed being able to watch my kids play together. I hope they play nicely like this for many years to come before outside influences ruin their togetherness!!

Part One: Saturday

After we got to the beach and had a quick lunch on the boardwalk the kiddos asked to go on the beach. Of course we said yes! (Sunday's weather was predicted to be bad thunderstorms all day) We didn't expect them to go completely in the water fully clothed, but hey they had a blast!!

And of course... a few rides...

Choo-Choo was a favorite all week!
