Party Time!

Today we hosted a combined kids/family birthday party for RJ. It was a little stressful in the AM because we had an 11am party (Rather than our usual 3 or 4pm party). I decided to make all crock pot dishes! Meatballs and pulled pork for the main dish with some broccoli salad, macaroni salad, cold salad, and homemade mac-n-cheese. For appetizers we had spinach-n-artichoke dip, cheesy garlic dip, taco dip, and sun dried tomato dip - all in the smaller crock pots! Perfect! Easy while the company was here... crazy before they arrived!

Everyone seemed to have a great time! RJ refused to pull a string of his pinata because he wanted to pull them all and he wasn't allowed. Sorry stubborn birthday boy... we still need to share! He wandered off and oh... just decided to lick off some icing from his Scooby cake. Gotta love a kiddo with his own agenda!

He got some new toys and lots of new clothes. Even better, NO duplicates! I liked all the new clothes! Everyone did so well!!

It was a wonderful, but exhausting day! Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating RJ! We love you all!
