Fall Family Fun

Yesterday we had a great day! Morgan, RJ, and I headed to church (while Daddy slept for night shift). They both did amazingly well, nibbling their food throughout the mass, not screaming or getting fussy! Whew! I hope that this continues!

After we got home from mass and Daddy woke up we headed to Freddy Hill Farms for our fall activities! I worked at Freddy Hill in high school and loved it there! I worked so many fall fests, and now I come back yearly to pick my pumpkins and get some delicious home made ice cream! Yum! Aunt Megan and Uncle Andy joined us today! Morgan absolutely adores her Aunt Megan to the point that she ignores me when her Aunt Megan is around! I feel the love... but not towards me! I am so happy she is so close with her Aunt even with the distance between them!

Because it was the first weekend our hayride took us to an amazing field of fat, plump, gorgeous pumpkins!! They hadn't been picked through yet and Morgan and RJ had a blast! We got all our pumpkins and took our hayride back to the rest of the festivities. The kids took a pony ride each, picked out some gourds, played in a hay pile, went down the big slide, and got some pictures! Did I mention, we watched some pig races too?! They loved watching those little piggies running around the track!

After the outside fun we headed inside for the delicious homemade ice cream! Mmm! I got espresso bean in a homemade waffle cone! Yum! Daddy got coffee in a waffle cone, Morgan got strawberry in a cookie cone, and RJ got birthday cake in a cake cone. Double YUM!!

What a wonderful fall day! I.LOVE.FALL!! It is the best season!!!
