Soccer - last of season

End of the season... was a bit crazy with not only COVID but weather interfering! RJ had fun overall playing and wants to play again - so that's a win in my book!

Soccer awards consist of all the parents sitting in the auditorium and each team being called onto the stage to have a quick overview of their season and they each got a small medal.

Indoor tournaments scare me a little...especially when RJ has to defend goal for a couple minutes in each game! He did an awesome job and I think he only let in 2 goals in 4 games! Nice job Buddy! (Some of the 'better' players let way more goals in than him... no comment, lol).

This morning we had to be at the high school at 7am for warm-ups with our first game starting at 8am. Such an early Sunday morning!

RJ - Soccer Awards

Tonight was soccer awards for RJ. This was a nice recognition for all the teams, but this ceremony took.... FOREVER! They spoke, then they introduced each team from oldest to youngest... that means we all had to sit from age 18 down to age 9 to see RJ. Long time sitting and listening. If I was bored, can only imagine how RJ felt! He got his medal and the night was over... although he was bummed he didn't get a trophy.

Dillsburg Tournament - Travel Soccer

Dillsburg Tournament... our first 'real' Travel Soccer weekend away from home! It was fun... Lots of games played, exciting times... not many wins, but the boys were having fun and that is all that counts! RJ doesn't really care if they win or lose anyway... so for us it was just a fun adventure!

After a long day, why not take a dip in the pool?
