Happy Father's Day Weekend!

What a fun-filled weekend we had!  Bob is a lucky man!!

Saturday started off with just he and I going to the Wildwood Jeep Show.  As we were leaving it started raining... ugh.  Rain + Open Jeep = Misery, BUT it started to clear up and got better as we drove.  We didn't get too wet.

It didn't rain at all once we got an hour or so away from home!  We enjoyed the Jeep Show for the morning!

We enjoyed some fishing off the peer and had some unique conversations with another fisherman sitting close by.

After fishing we enjoyed a drink at the ol' hang out the Windrift and then found a small restaurant to enjoy a surprisingly delicious supper at before heading home.

Today we got up and decided to take the kiddos with us to the Phillies game.  We stopped into McFadden's for a quick lunch and then into the ballgame we went.  Kiddos behaved themselves, Phillies ACTUALLY won!  (Far and few between this year!!!)  

After the game we decided to head over to Pat's.  The kiddos' first cheesesteaks.  Morgan wasn't impressed, RJ enjoyed his (I think).  Bob and I of course demolished ours!

After we got home Morgan made Daddy a yummy strawberry shortcake dessert!

What a lucky Daddy this weekend!

Fabulous Father's Day

Daddy had a great day!  After church we headed out in the jeep for a LONG jeep ride.  We checked out lots of covered bridges and took a couple stops along the way.  5 hours in a jeep is a long time!!  The kids and I were good troopers and didn't complain too much :)  Off we went...

'Playing' at Ringing Rocks Park!

The idea is to walk around this huge field and hit rocks with hammers and the rocks make different sounds!  Bob didn't remember a hammer and a wonderful sweet woman heard us saying this to the kiddos and she gave us her hammer as she was leaving!  There is still some special, kind bystanders out there!!

At this park rock climbers actually propel down, Bob said he always hears about problems occurring here!  Pretty far down!!

Fun day jeep-ing around!  After our exploration we headed to MeMom and Pop Pop's house for a delicious Roast Beef/Potatoes/Green Beans/Corn supper with MeMom, Pop Pop, Grandmom, and Granddad!

What a nice Father's Day!  Love to my father, my husband, and all the great dads I know out there!

One last ride and treat!

Daddy suggested at the last minute one last jeep ride to get a cold treat!  No complaints from any of us!!
