Oh deer!

 

Taking bets... getting veggies from my garden or eating the birdseed? 

Oh deer!

We were just talking about not seeing deer in our yard recently...and then... the one baby followed his momma the other one decided to run towards us...bad idea little one - run the other directions - unless of course you want to play with two scary puppies!

Oh DEER -Do you see what I see?

Oh Deer, do you see what I see?  Look closely...

See it now?  A deer approaching my garden...

Can you spot the deer now?

Now you see him?  That stinker came up and ate our pumpkin display!

I worked so hard on this garden...

Those DARN deer!! They nibbled off all the flowers to my peas, green beans, and cucumbers!

Boo hiss!

And... he got one

Bob's first deer.  

He was so excited!  

Here he is with his prize and afterward celebrating!

Buck in the Back

We saw a young buck in the backyard tonight.  Kids were pretty into it.  He didn't even seem too scared as they clicked, clapped, and called at him!  Maybe too brave?  Hope we get to see him again...

Oh my... look very close at this picture...

What do you see?

I see a deer eating right from my neighbor's bird feeder!  Yes... just putting her little mouth up to the feeder and nibbling away!

Hm... and Bob thought the squirrels ate all my bird seed.  NOPE!  I literally fill our bird feeder and the next morning it is completely gone, more than once!  Now I see what has happened!

Smart deer!  You are just so smart...

Maybe it is time to move my bird feeders to the front of the house!
