Finally family party time! I didn't take many pictures as it was a low key type of party. It was nice to visit with everyone since it had been a while since we had even small gatherings!
A fun time out for RJ and two of his friends to celebrate his birthday! Arnolds is in Oaks and lots of fun for boys (big and small, lol). This giraffe and big guy were outside and we just had to get a picture with them! The least the creatures could do for us after spending a small fortune inside! RJ had an amazing time -- and that's really all that truly matters!
RJ has turned 13! Wow! A full-fledged teenager. It is amazing to think he has been with us for 13 years. RJ loves hard and fights (at home) hard. He is loved by all his teachers - as they only have nice things to say about him. This year so far he is doing well in school and is completing his work on time. His room continues to be a mess - literally within an hour of cleaning it - it is back to clothes on the floor. I try to be patient with him but... sigh... RJ has a huge heart and would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone who asked for it. We are still dealing with RJ being bullied because he is still naïve and does not know how to stand up for himself. It breaks my heart and I do all I can but sometimes it just isn't enough.
