So... while Momma was in the hospital just recovering from her day's surgery with Daddy by her side MeMom and Pop Pop took Morgan and RJ out to supper. Lucky them - their food looks yummy!
And... just like that Morgan is done her ballet career. Today was her final recital as she has shared on many occasions she no longer has a passion for dance. No matter who tells her she is really good - she does not want to hear it and she says she is done with dance. Her last recital was a spin off of the Nutcracker as they weren't able to do the Christmas show. Morgan looked great and she did an amazing job like always! She was blessed to have both her Aunts and girl cousins, and grandparents come to watch her!
When Morgan is at a long ballet recital rehearsal what does Momma do? She takes a nice long hike - almost 5 miles - then had a picnic of school work for the last hour or two!
Morgan is starting to attempt her nails... she is putting a ton of layers on and then finding out they peel right off! Poor kiddo! Practice makes perfect!
A day off for voting? Sure we will use it for important business! First up, hair cut for the Bubba-Boo
I love seeing my boy in a great mood and being silly! A mess all over his face while he eats and 100% happy!
Toys bought for Duke's birthday - but Willow has adopted this crinkly and squeaky toy for herself!
Happy Mother's Day! I did not do a great job of taking pictures today! We worked in the garden a bit and then Morgan made me by favorite meal and dessert! Meatloaf and cinnamon sugar soft pretzels! Yum!!
Daddy got me a pretty heart necklace from Pandora. I would have liked something handmade by my kiddos, but beggars can't be choosers!
Only in the country we use a tree branch to fix a sign!
Garden is prepped! Lots of weeding completed and new mushroom mulch/dirt put into the boxes. I don't like the dirt, but fingers crossed after it settles for a week or two it will work well for my plants!
Also... working on getting the poles and netting up over the blueberries so we can actually eat some this year and keep the birdies away!!

While Morgan is at ballet I take walks, and found this awesome trail about a mile from ballet. I do get a little worried I may get lost, but hey - I'll find my way back, lol!
Happy Birthday puppy! A yummy treat and a new toy or two to celebrate this cutie pie. Duke - Happy 2nd Birthday pup! You are a lovebug! You are well trained to pee and poop every time you go outside, but you continue to excite-pee-pee when someone talks to you and makes you the center of attention. Silly puppy, you are two now - you can stop that second part! You have also gained a lot of weight! You are a piggy and after letting Willow eat you gobble up your food and whatever is left of her food. I think you have more of a corgi body - stout with longer legs, haha. We love you and hope you had a great day!
