Today was about making food creations during the day... and adult Halloween gathering at night! The

The spiders look awesome, right? Yes, if you want to eat them off the drying racks! I do not recommend this recipe to anyone!! The body of the spiders was easy to make, even the legs were easy, but the drizzling of chocolate over the spiders was a disastrous mess!!! AND when I attempted the jimmies that was a terrible sticky, clumpy mess! They tasted good, but needless to say I ended up making more of the next goody to take to the adult party too!

This was an easy and awesome idea! The ghosts were fun to make and a child four years of age can help (AKA Morgan). Pretzels, white chocolate, and whatever you want to use for the eyes and mouth! They looked great and were my savior!! Were also quick to make and cooled fast!

First Preschool Party!

Morgan got invited to her first preschool birthday party! She was so excited to go... even if she couldn't remember what the birthday boy's name was... Daddy said she had a blast! RJ and I stayed home and Daddy took Morgan to Bounce U in Allentown for the party!! Happy Birthday Matthew from Morgan's class!

Happy 8th Anniversary!

Today Bob and I celebrated our 8th anniversary a few days late! We talked to the deck guy, headed to the Sands casino in Bethlehem and then to the Melting Pot.

I think we have decided on a deck and the way to pay for it! Now the details will need to be worked out! Yikes, we are actually going to do it! AND they said they will be starting it Monday! Wow!

The Sands was nice, Bob said he felt like it was out of the seventies. It had orange lights hanging from the ceiling as decoration. It wasn't bad, nothing fancy. We sat at the round bar for an hour or so and watched the New York Yankees vs. the Texas Rangers American League play offs while we sipped on Chocolate Margaritas. Half price and yummy!

We had a wonderfully delicious meal at the Melting Pot. We had never been there before. A bit expensive and we didn't realize supper would last well over two hours! But it was worth it, we had a wonderful time!!

Here's to another great year!!

Did I mention Morgan and RJ had a blast with Aunt Melanie while we were gone? As usual... she spoiled them!

Floor or Mouth?

Question: When you got to supper are you supposed to eat food or throw food?

RJ's answer: Throw food!

Tonight the kiddos, Bob and I met Cameron, Deklan and AJ at Applebee's for supper. RJ was out of control! I don't know if it was his cold or that he didn't get a long enough nap at the sitter, but he was so fussy! Morgan did ok, and so did the Linthicum kiddos, but RJ... yiyiyi. He was actually happier sitting turned around from the table in time out tonight! Crazy kid!!

After supper we headed to Dairy Queen to play on their inside play yard and have some ice cream for dessert. RJ enjoyed that part! It was adorable... the stairs up were spaced a little too wide apart for AJ and RJ to climb up so Morgan was the 'mother hen' and pushed them up each step by their rumps! Deklan tried to lift AJ up but it was a sight for sore eyes!! They couldn't coordinate the movement, so Morgan went back to lifting both RJ and AJ up to each next step!!

Scarecrows!

Scarecrows everywhere! We had a blast at Peddler's Village! Morgan wanted to get her picture taken with all the scarecrows, RJ wanted to imitate his sister and both kiddos were pretty well behaved, except for lunch... Bob got a yummy chicken pot pie and I got a yummy veggie burger minus the bun! The kids split a mac-n-cheese, but they had already had snacks on the way to the Village so they weren't really that hungry... Needless to say, you can see what they enjoyed most about lunch (sugar packets...) Terrible parents, but they stayed quiet and peaceful!!

There was a hay maze and activities that were only open on the weekends, but this empty head portrait was available to use any time...

We also enjoyed some time in Giggleberry Fair. The best attraction for Morgan and RJ was the carousel.

The kiddos and Daddy got some yummy ice cream!! You can see that they all gobbled up their snack!

After Peddler's we headed to RJ's swim lesson. It was slightly disastrous because he only got barely an hour nap... Morgan insisted she go in too... so we had to improvise for an outfit for her, and all four of us had to share two towels... interesting makings! Sorry... no pictures of our pool adventure (to say the least).

After swimming we went to a pizzeria nearby in Lansdale and had a yummy supper!

Dancing and Tumbling

This was the fun activity I watched after church/breakfast/card store on Sunday! I couldn't help but smile and watch!!

Morgan and RJ spinning... RJ tumbling (oh so close to somersault)... dancing together... I.TOTALLY.LOVE.WATCHING.MORGAN.AND.RJ.TOGETHER!!

On a side note... Awesome date today!! 10-10-10 Pretty cool!
