As we were cleaning up in the kitchen on Saturday after Melanie's party this is what we found in the dining room... Gotta love it!! He found a way up AND a way to scoop up the icing without getting his hands dirty!!

Today we went over to the Watkin's home and got to share enjoyment in their pool, their creek, yummy food, and good friends. Morgan as all about the pool and the creek! A little hesitant at first about the creek but as soon as she saw the other kiddos do things she mimicked them... what does that say about peer pressure in the future?

The surprise party for Aunt Melanie was a huge success!! Aunt Melanie was so surprised! She was running late (which is not like her!) but it gave everyone plenty of time to get to the house. Mrs. Bate waited upstairs and was the last one to surprise Aunt Melanie! After her first set of tears cleared up, her second set began to fall! Perfect entrance by Mrs. Bate!! (As Bob says, if someone cries they are completely surprised!)

Thank you to everyone who helped and brought yummies! Everything was so delicious!

Block Party!

Had to skip yesterday for this post! Yesterday I had to give a shout-out to all the Dads out there! The block party was a lot of fun! The fire truck came around 5pm. The kids got a chance to spray holding the hose and the truck continuously sprayed the kids with thousands of gallons of water! Morgan liked holding the hose but she wasn't so sure about the gigantic sprinkler! RJ wasn't sure about the whole thing! Observant from a distance for RJ! Thank you Trumbauersville Fire Company for bringing lots of water and lots of smiles! Daddy also brought a police car to show off what a police car looks like to the inquisitive kids (and parents!).

Morgan attempted to play her first volleyball game! Cute!

It was nice to gather with neighbors for some good food and good conversation! Late night... not home until after 10pm, but fun!

Today was a hot day for dads! Our Daddy slept in and then headed to MeMom and Pop Pop's house for a barbecue. Grandmom, Granddad, Auntie Nikki, Uncle Bobby, and Felicity came too! It was fun!

Picnic type of day!

Today was a busy day!! We started out by heading to a yard sale. The kids slept in later than I expected, so we headed to a yard sale that I go to annually, but only for a half hour before we headed to AJ's second birthday party!! (The yard sale was kind of disappointing this year, so it was ok that we were only there for a short time.)

We had a blast at Uncle Cameron's house! For AJ's party there was a water table, a sprinkler, a moon bounce, ladder golf, and a slide cube. There was also lots of yummy crunchy snacks, fruit, juice boxes, pizza, and cupcakes for dessert! YUM!! The kids had such a good exhausting time! They are down for naps right now and then we will head to the neighborhood block party! The fire truck and Daddy's police car will be coming around! Yea! I will write about the block party tomorrow!
