Weekend in Maryland

We had a great weekend! The kids and I drove down on Friday night... of course hit lots of traffic and an accident back-up, but we finally made it down and then the kids ended up staying up until after 11pm... late night, but they were so full of energy!

Saturday we just laid around the house... it was dark, dreary, and threatening rain at any time so we decided to play it safe and stay inside. Uncle Bobby, Auntie Nikki, and Felicity came over to visit for a little while! Morgan loves Felicity and RJ was very intrigued by Felicity's face. He was trying to touch her face constantly! Poor Felicity doesn't crawl yet so she was stuck with being touched and poked and prodded by RJ and Morgan! We headed to church Saturday night and the kids were fairly well behaved! Thank goodness!

Sunday we got up, ate a yummy breakfast (Thanks Uncle Andy!) and headed to a pumpkin patch to pick some pumpkins and take a hayride. RJ was a little grouchy and Morgan wanted to walk to the farthest patch, but all in all it was a nice time! The hayride was a hit for both kiddos and I think us adults liked it too! There were fairy tale characters along the route of the hayride... pretty neat!

Time already to head home! These weekends go way to fast! What a fun weekend down in Maryland... just wish it lasted longer!

I love the picture of them sticking their heads through and looking at each other. Very cute!! And P.S. NOT MY PUMPKIN :o) - just some random pumpkin Andy picked up and claimed as mine...but thanks anywayz!
