A birthday filled weekend!

Friday night we went to Angela and Hannah's kids party. Bethanne held it at her parents house because they had more room outside. We jumped on a moon bounce, ate pizza, and yummy homemade cupcakes. RJ ate a whole piece of pizza while I forced Morgan to eat half of her slice. She was more interested in the cheese doodles that someone handed her while I was focused on RJ!

Saturday I woke up at 6:15am. Why? I have no clue, but I couldn't get back to sleep. Urgh! Went grocery shopping around 7am. I think the old people in the line weren't very happy as they watched my never-ending cart unfolding! (There was only one cashier open, guess that is all they usually need on an Early Saturday morning!) I had to buy for RJ's party and the week for the family. When I got home RJ and Daddy were up and watching TV. I nursed RJ then started preparing food for the party, cutting up burger fixings, getting chip bowls organized and getting all the last minute odds-n-ends together. RJ and Morgan took great naps and I I actually had to wake Morgan up! Over a 3 hour nap! Way to go tired little girl!

Daddy set up a canopy outside, we set up tables and chairs under the tent and set up Morgan's moon bounce. We had a wonderful celebration. The Ellis cousins came which was a nice surprise. Uncle Bobby, Auntie Nikki, and Felicity made the trip up! That was a wonderful surprise!! We were so glad they came to celebrate RJ's first birthday with us! It really meant a lot to me! (Especially because Uncle Bobby had worked late on Friday night.) The kids played on the moon bounce, played in the sand box, and played in the playroom with all the millions of toys we own. Everyone seemed to get along great! The pull string pinata was the hit of the party! It was so much fun watching all the kiddos diving in for treats that fell out of the pinata. After cake and icecream (which RJ liked the icing, but not the cake as much) everyone packed up and headed home. We opened one present and then played with it for a little while. It was a choo-choo train toy. I think Morgan may have liked it better than RJ... for now...

Sunday was yet another busy day! We went to church and then to the West Chester Restaurant Festival. We go every year. It was very crowded, but they have tons of yummy food with many roads blocked off to walk up and down. My favorite this year was the pulled pork. It was BBQ and not spicy... just perfect for me! We walked around for three hours or so then stopped briefly at Aunt Jo and Uncle Sean's to pick up clothes for RJ before heading to the twins second party of the weekend. We got there just in time for presents and cake. We packed it in and left for home around 7:30 because I was exhausted! I can't imagine how the kids felt, but they were holding it together! I actually fell asleep before 9 o'clock last night!

We had a great, but exhausting weekend! Count down in now on to Aunt Meggie and Uncle Andy's wedding!
