Happy Independence Day! It is amazing to think how wonderful a holiday the 4th is and how long we as a country have celebrated our independence! I hope everyone thought about the true reason for a few minutes and enjoyed nice company and good food!

Attempted an earlier nap for Morgan...did not work out...she played and talked to her self (still can't understand her language) for two hours before I decided a nap was useless and prayed she could keep it together later in the day for our picnic!

We headed to the Mellon's house for a 4 o'clock picnic. We had a great time! Morgan was very well behaved and didn't throw a hug tantrum, although it was close once or twice! There was lots of yummy food and delicious home made desserts (icecream, cookies, cheesecake bars...) We decided b/c of the rain we would skip the Quakertown fireworks and Daddy came over for a quick bite to eat before we all headed home!
