Ending the pool season

Always bitter sweet to find the end of the season upon us. I really enjoy sitting at the pool day in and day out, watching my kiddos play and have fun, and catching up on reading of magazines and books that slacked during the school year!  It also means school is starting along with busy schedules and stress.  Soaking it in... one.last.day!

Grange Fair

I have gone to the Grange Fair with Bob ever since we got married.  It was something special he used to do with his mom and dad.  His mom had come since she was young... since the Grange Far had first started she had been there.  This year was bitter sweet.  One of the first of many I am sure... the memories of Mom without her here...

Bob allowed Morgan and RJ to each bring a friend and I think overall we all had a good time together exploring the fair from animal watching to craft looking to ride going to so much more!

 Finished off the evening with some yummy homemade ice cream from a local parlor!

Morgan and Momma got their back-to-school hair cut today.  Morgan an inch or two, Momma, a chop!

Morgan's Magic

Once in a while I let Morgan go to town on me with her grand ideas!  I don't like to say no to bonding time even if the final project is my face... only way to get better is to practice and learn, right?
