Memorial Day Parade
This morning both RJ and Morgan marched in the Memorial Day parade. They both did an amazing job! After the parade there was a ceremony that the high school needed to play throughout. It was a nice ceremony... a little long for short attention spans, but it was nice.

Garden!
Finally getting the garden up and running. I really wanted to put together a brand new garden this year with a whole new structure but with the basement project, our upcoming trip to Disney and crazy schedules between the kids, Bob, and I... there just was no time. Hopeful next year we will have a new space!
I did plant a ton of veggies... Bob wasn't excited but this is my baby!
Plants: Lots of Tomatoes, Peas, Green Beans, Green Zucchini, Yellow Zucchini, Butternut Squash, Peppers, Cucumbers, and Eggplant
By seed: Carrots, Beets, Edamame, Green Beans, Peas, Lima Beans, Green Onions, and Pepper
Lots pray for an abundant crop!

Track Banquet
Tonight was Morgan’s track banquet. Very nice set up and although it was long and boring for me because I really didn’t know many people, Morgan looked like she was having fun with her friends - and that’s all that matters! (It was also boys and girls mixed track so that took longer to hand out rewards.)
She received a letter tonight for earning points for her team at at least 1 track meet. So proud of you girl!!

Beach - day 2
We enjoyed a great weekend! Final pictures of the weekend… Macen is definitely a trash talker... he just made us all laugh because we aren't as verbal during our sand games, lol.
Basement - started!
We got home from the beach and bam! Holy cow! Our basement is on it's way to becoming a wonderful hangout space! I can't wait!

Beach 2022! Day 1
Our first trip to the beach for 2022!! Yay! It is gorgeous weather!!
Getting here like always was a challenge… Beth drove home in a torrential rain storm… roads were flooded and Rt 309 was closed due to a fatal accident (saying a prayer!) It took Beth 40+ minutes to get home (normally 25 mins). Then had to pack the truck in drizzle and headed on our way. Filled the truck with gas for 82.00 (gulp) and off we went. It was a long congested ride… left around 5:25, got here last night around 8:15.
Enjoyed our Manco and Manco for a late supper then the kiddos went up to walk on the boardwalk while Beth unpacked the bags. Bob drove so he relaxed - well deserved!
Enjoyed breakfast then came to the beach!! Teenagers mean they do everything for themselves! They dress and suntan lotion all by themselves! It is amazing!! About 83ish degrees, perfect ocean breeze and not too crowded. It is more crowded then expected but no one is sitting on top of us so that’s a win, lol.
