So proud of Morgan!  She was chosen to put her art work into the district wide art show again!  Her portrait of herself she created is amazing!  (Better than I could ever do!!)

Reading Olympics!

After being rescheduled due to a snow day... we had Reading Olympics tonight!

What is Reading Olympics?  Yes... I had no clue either... over the last 3 or so months the students on the teams have been reading designated books on the list.  Morgan has been reading like crazy!! Tonight, teams from all over Bucks County competed against each other answering questions asked about all the different books. For every question the Pfaff team got correct they got a point.  The more points they earned the better!  They all did awesome!  They got the number 1 ribbon! Way to go!!

So... trying to leave was such a traffic jam!  LOL! 

PSSA testing begins...

Momma makes the kiddos have a nice hot breakfast!  You can see their excitement about PSSA testing!  All this Momma cares about is that they try their best.  (I really do not care HOW they do, just that they TRIED their best!)

 

Snow Day x 6

Feeling a bit like this today...

"...But sometimes I like to close my eyes,

and imagine what it'd be like when summer does come. ah.

Bees'll buzz, kids'll blow dandelion fuzz

and I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer.

a drink in my hand, my snow up against the burning sand

probably getting gorgeously tanned in summer...

I'll finally see a summer breeze, blow away a winter storm

and find out what happens to solid water when it gets warm!

and I can't wait to see, what my buddies all think of me

just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer...

The hot and the cold are both so intense

put 'em together it just makes sense!

Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle

but put me in summer and I'll be a ---- happy snowman!

When life gets rough, I like to hold on to my dream,

of relaxing in the summer sun, just lettin' off steam...

when I finally do what frozen things do in summer!"

Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE snow!!  I really really do!!  I have loved snow since I was little and my love has not gone away... that being said... I am sad when days are added onto the end of the school year!  It is super sad to see the end of our school year creeping later and later!  Luckily today I already had off... but the kiddos had a snow make up day today... jokes on us (a day late!)  Thanks Mother Nature!! Guess they will now have a 'snow make up day - snow make up day' added onto the end of their year.  They will go out and play in the snow today for sure!!  Make the best of that white stuff we have in April!!  :)
