RJ - Soccer Awards

Tonight was soccer awards for RJ. This was a nice recognition for all the teams, but this ceremony took.... FOREVER! They spoke, then they introduced each team from oldest to youngest... that means we all had to sit from age 18 down to age 9 to see RJ. Long time sitting and listening. If I was bored, can only imagine how RJ felt! He got his medal and the night was over... although he was bummed he didn't get a trophy.

Walt Disney - RJ style

Tonight was the wax museum. RJ wanted to be Walt Disney, just like his big sis was a couple years ago. We tried to change his mind, but he wanted to be Walt, so he studied him. He created a report on him and memorized a few short sentences about him. He did a great job at the wax museum! He wasn't nervous at all! Way to go Bubba!

Morgan's artistic talent!

Today after Pop Pop's retirement Morgan raced to her friend's painting birthday party. I thought her card was very creative and her final painting was amazing too! Great job Morgan!!

Dad/Pop Pop's retirement

Today we surprised and celebrated Dad/Pop Pop with a brunch at William Penn Inn.

His kids and grand kids got to the restaurant early and Pop Pop thought he and MeMom were just going out for a brunch together... something that is common for them to do.

I think Dad/Pop Pop was surprised! Congrats Dad, you deserve to enjoy the rest of your life doing what you want and on your terms... except of course when you are needed to babysit :) We love you lots!!

The Lee Family got Pop Pop a plaque with his retirement information on it, the Rounay Family got him a box car for each grandchild with their theme on it from Pop Pop's train layout using each of their birthdays as the boxcar number, and the Schultz Family got Pop Pop a telescope to check out the moon, stars, and universe in all his free time!
