RJ's 9th birthday supper!

How is my Bubba-Boo already 9 years old?  Where has the time gone?!  Although RJ, you still push buttons every.single.day and drive your Momma (and Daddy) nuts we wouldn't want it any other way.  Your warmth and love when you make the right choices is something we could never live without.  You inspire us with how kind you are to your classmates and it always amazes us how many people know your name when we are out and about in the community.  (Although you never seem to remember their names... gotta work on that!)  You work hard in school and your teachers say you try your best.  That is all we want!  All we ask is that you try your best and do the best you can!  We love your smile and your squiggly, wiggly body even when it is screaming and yelling, because... we know that you aren't getting away with whatever it is you were doing... and you have finally realized (most of the time) it isn't worth the battle to fight us and settle down quicker than you have in the past and complete the requested task.  You are starting to grow up... just don't forget how much we love you and always give your Momma a hug when she asks!

Cornfield Fun

We went up the street today to a produce stand that creates a corn maze through the stalks.  I hung with RJ and Morgan went alone.  It took RJ a little while to figure out how to get out.  Morgan beat us!  I went with RJ because I thought he would be quicker... guess I misjudged Morgan this time!

RJ's birthday breakfast!

Morgan is such an awesome big sister!  This morning she made RJ his birthday breakfast with all his favorites!  Gotta love the love from the big sister to her little brother!

9 already!

Football!

Finally getting to our first home Quakertown Football Game!  Wahoo!  There are only 4 this year and I think we can only get to this one!  Bummer!!

We had a fun time!  It was warm, they won, and the band's show looks like so much fun!

A new beginning... Travel Soccer

This year we have put RJ into travel soccer.  Let's see how the year plays out... can you find him?  It's kinda like where's Waldo?

Bye bye Accord

Today we sold our Accord.  boo hiss.  I will miss my leather seats, black, slick, dark tinted windows!  And especialy by stick shift!!  Gotta move on, but moving on is hard...

On to a new chapter... although not happily, nothing i can do about it.  Bob made his decision.

Bag Bingo

Tonight was bag bingo to support RJ's travel soccer.  Because the end of the summer was primarily focused on family and learning how to survive life without Mom, I did not sell any tickets to the Bingo.  My mom went with me and we put a lot of money into the raffles... of which none we won, boo hiss!  Although I did get one bingo... so did two other people and I didn't win the bag.  Oh well, I was there to support a good cause... and to have my Momma drink!  hehehe

Wonderful Weekend

This weekend we had our wonderful weekend away in the middle of nowhere!  ATV-ing, drinking, and enjoying family time together and with good friends.  Good times, good friends, peaceful nature.  Such a needed relaxing break from reality!  Enjoy our pictures below!!
