Tonight we made playdoh from scratch!  It worked and was super fun!  All edible too so even better!!

Although our team lost yet again (boo!) we had a lot of fun at the ballpark today!

Dance Recital - Take Two!

Tonight, the finale!  Morgan did awesome again!!!

The theme was Peter Pan and Morgan was a moonbeam up in the sky!  

RJ had a few moments of NOT behaving which was embarrassing, but he got over it... sort-of...

Morgan was so sweet...she didn't want to wear her glasses on stage because people may not be able to see her make-up!  Ha!  Diva on my hands, but I guess I knew that already!!

Dance Recital - Take One!

Tonight was Morgan's first Dance Recital of the weekend.  She did great!  She looked beautiful!  She was blessed to have Grandmom and Granddad and Auntie Nikki and Felicity there to see her!

 

We Scream for...

ICE CREAM!!

Tonight we took a jeep ride up to the Boyertown area to try out Longacre's Ice cream.  Did NOT disappoint!!

We had a nice weekend, full of business!  I posted for Friday.  Saturday Bob and I worked on our fire pit some more.  Then we went to a surprise 40th bday party... the wife went all out!!  They had a pig!  Wow!!

Sunday Bob and I finished the fire pit... hard work!  It looks great, but hard work!

Step 1: Digging out all the grass (MAJORLY hard!!!)

Step 2: Flatten the area

Step 3: Put down weed protector paper

Step 4: Put Red Rocks Down and flatten them out, try to make them level

Step 5: Dig out center grass

Step 6: Add sand and fire pit gravel

Step 7: Build fire pit walls

Step 8: FINALLY sit and enjoy!

Monday kids played outside most of the day.  It was beautiful!  I started back on the Insanity program!  And eating healthier!!

Tuesday I took the kiddos with me while I had a LONG day of IEP meetings for incoming kindergarteners.  Bad news I was there from 9-2, Good news I will be getting paid for 8:00-2:30.  That extra 1.5 hours (and then some) was put in by me writing the IEPs on Monday night!!!

Wednesday the kiddos completed their chores and we headed to the pool for a couple hours.  Came home, took a nap, and ate an early supper.  Morgan and I were off Dance Dress Rehearsal!  We got there and they were about 1 hour behind!  We ended up being there from about 6 until 9ish!

I think next week Summer will truly begin for me!

2014 Wordless Work Wednesday - 26

Silly stories!

A new pet?

Um... RJ and a neighbor found a baby mouse... ha!  The neighbor brought over all the fixings for the baby including a little cage and bedding.  OH - and a printed out list of directions on how to take care of a baby wild mouse.  (Her parents wouldn't let her keep it, go figure...)

I am sorry I didn't get pictures of RJ holding it... he had no fear, touching it, petting it, trying to feed it.  This mouse was little... her (RJ decided it was a girl) eyes weren't even open yet!!  Well, needless to say, the baby mouse refused to eat. Now remember... I was warming up milk and attempted to get the mouse to eat from an eye dropper... (Oh boy, what I do for my kiddos)

Hence, when a baby mouse doesn't eat... well, she passes away...  No more new pets for us for awhile!  (She lasted in a cage with us 'taking care of her' for less than 24 hours...um...)

Celebrate end of School!

Bob decided to celebrate Morgan and my last day of school by going to the Milford Carnival! Lots of... interesting people there!  Bob allowed Morgan to invite her friend Rachel to the fair.  We ended up buying wrist bands for $15.00 for unlimited rides.  It was definitely the better choice!

The kiddos had fun!  The kiddos got snow cones to end the evening... right before we watched the fireworks!
