Happy 30th Megan!!

Megan graduated from her masters program in reading so Mom and Dad headed down to Maryland to see her get her diploma.  Since they weren't home to get the annual Memorial Day party together I offered to host the party at my house... AKA surprise 30th birthday Megan! 

Besides Megan being over 1/2 hour late, everything turned out great and I think everyone had a great time!

Oh my... look very close at this picture...

What do you see?

I see a deer eating right from my neighbor's bird feeder!  Yes... just putting her little mouth up to the feeder and nibbling away!

Hm... and Bob thought the squirrels ate all my bird seed.  NOPE!  I literally fill our bird feeder and the next morning it is completely gone, more than once!  Now I see what has happened!

Smart deer!  You are just so smart...

Maybe it is time to move my bird feeders to the front of the house!

2013 Wordless Work Wednesday - 22

 

 

Swim-swim-swim!!

RJ and Morgan swimming again!  Yipee!!  They both had a great session tonight!  I love watching them swim, but I am so jealous!  I want to jump in and swim some laps!!

Phillies Phun!

We made it to the game today with minimal traffic issues!  Whew!!  We needed an easier drive after the last game!

There were some rough kiddos in the Phanatic Phun Zone so RJ didn't want to play long... all was made well when Morgan and RJ got a face paint design on both cheeks!  Lucky ducks!

Even better news.... Phillies came back to hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the 9th to win the game!  Way to go!!  Wahoo!  These three gorgeous fans were excited about the win!!

Park and Princess Party Fun!

After soccer we raced to birthday party 1 today...

One of RJ"s classmates had a party at the Quakertown park today.  It was a little dreary but didn't really rain until the party was winding down!  They rented one of the pavilions and served yummy kid friendly food... meatballs, kraft mac-n-cheese, chips, and juice boxes. The kiddos ate a played until they were past contentment...

Morgan and RJ had a nice time and it was so nice for me too!  Since the kiddos played like crazy on the humongous playground I got to talk with the moms/dads of RJ's classmates.  Adult time with his friends' parents! What a concept!!

After the party ended we sped home.... RJ was put down for a nap and Morgan changed into another beautiful dress for her second party of the day.  Off we headed to sweet and sassy for Morgan's friend, Emma's birthday party!  What is sweet and sassy you might ask?  A fancy, princess-like hairdresser for little princess-like girls.  You can also have parties there where the girls get a princess 'up-do', nails painted, make-up, and dress-up.  SO much fun for any little girl who is girly!  Morgan LOVED it and had SUCH a GREAT time!!

On a side note... since sweet and sassy was at the Promenade Shops I went Christmas shopping!  I got a bulk of the kids clothes-presents to give for Christmas for a steal of a price!  Score!!

What a busy, but wonderfully happy day for all involved... poor Daddy slept and worked, maybe not so happy for him...
