I took an up close and personal shot of me with Morgan and RJ before the boredom sank in, as you can see in the following shots!
Well... how did the visit go?
The nurse practitioner came in and asked a lot of questions, typed into the computer and then said she would take a look at the kiddos ears before the doctor came in. I warned her that RJ may (my nice terms for ABSOLUTELY WILL) flip out so she opted to pass on looking at RJ's ears. Probably a wise decision!! When she looked in Morgan's ears she mentioned that she thought she saw fluid in her ears (ugh).
We waited a long time... and Dr. Germiller finally came in. He did RJ's ears first... and Daddy got to put him in the hold! Not me this time, whew! RJ fussed and cried, but not to the extent he had last time with me. I think not having the nurse practitioner look first and then having the doctor look helped out on RJ not flipping out too much.
Dr. Germiller said that RJ's ears looked like they were healing nicely, even the ear that he had to place the extra material in to make sure the tube didn't fall into RJ's eardrum. I also asked Dr. Germiller to check RJ's tonsils because I felt they looked a little bit big. He asked if RJ snored, woke up at night a lot, or was a mouth breather. I answered no to all. He said that RJ's tonsils were big, but in the average range. He also said by the time a child becomes 7-8 years old they shrink in size. Hmm... interesting. RJ is good for 6 months when we come back for our next follow-up visit.
Then he moved to Morgan... and this time she wins the medal for the problematic ears. Ugh. She sat nice and still as Dr. Germiller looked into her ears and blew some air into her ears to reveal fluid in BOTH her left and her right ears. Fluid = ? Yup, tubes! Not only tubes, but because she is over 4 he said he will be also removing her adenoids. Well... actually he said he would be shaving her adenoids off. Nice... shaving structures off... This surgery will be occurring on May 20th. **sigh** I am glad to know that Morgan saying 'what' ALL.THE.TIME is not just behavioral!! Now... patience is needed for the next month, and a lot of loud talking will be occurring in the Lee household!

After naps we were off to the Iron Pigs game!
(Phillies triple A team)
WELCOME TO...
Quakertown Borough reserved tickets in the pavilion (left field area). It was a fee for a buffet and we sat at the tables for the game. We sat with the Mallery Family. Morgan was excited because she likes Maddie. Maddie is a year older than Morgan, but they get along nicely.
"Muscle Cam" was announced...
We had a nice time. It was chilly and Daddy refused to take a jacket with us. The kids were dressed in three layers plus heavy jackets. I had three layers on and had my coat in case I got cold. I told Bob he would need more than a short sleeve shirt and a long sleeve t-shirt but he said he would be fine without a jacket. WRONG! It was cold! The temperature said 50 degrees, but the wind was chilly!! Bob decided at the end of the 5th inning the 'game was over.' So we left half way through the game because he couldn't take the cold any more. yiyiyi. Hopefully next time he will listen to me!
The kids did pretty good! It was nice because of the tables there was space to walk around. We had a nice time! The stadium is really nice for just a minor league park.
