Morgan's Mother's Day Gift!

Morgan made me a beautiful Mother's Day gift!!

Mother's Day Tea

I was able to go to RJ's Mother's Day Tea.  It was a nice gathering.  Nice to talk to some of the other moms and see all the kiddos.  I truly miss being able to be a true part of his schooling with dropping off and picking up, but it is what it is.

The kiddos made pictures for each of their mom's with a reason why their mom was special.  RJ made this picture:

and said... "My mom is special because she watches TV with me."  (Well, on the back of his picture this is what was dictated...)

Holes?  Really?  Where?  Does he mean windows?  Oh boy.  Can't worry about it, just gives me a chuckle.  (For the record, we don't have ANY holes in our walls!)

Then they sang a Mommy song, too big to download :(


After the song they said a prayer for their moms.

We had some light refreshments and a cup of tea.  RJ made me a little fake flower and then we headed home.

I am glad I was able to make his last Mother's Day Tea at the preschool.  (Wow!)

Green Thumb time!

I am not so good at keeping plants alive in my home... to be honest I often forget to water them.  BUT, the garden is like my baby!!  I love taking care of the garden and enjoy its yummy produce that comes from my love!!

This was the day!  A long day, but totally worth it!

Bob insisted on blueberries... let us see how that goes...

Oh...and Happy Mother's Day to me!  Lots of work done, but it feels good to be done!  Now... grow veggies grow!!

Busy Saturday.

Today I did about 15 loads of wash, literally, maybe 16!!!  I had to get creative with how I hung things and luckily with the nice breeze the clothes dried quickly!!  Bob worked at Quakertown Christian's auction from 10ish until 1:30ish when I dropped RJ off and Bob took him to a classmate's birthday party.  Morgan and I ran some errands.  We came home and I worked on more wash... Then it rained!!  A downpour!!  Off and on for the rest of the night...  Then watched us some Phillies.

RJ had fun on his field trip... it was a visit to the farm.

Watch out!

Today was just one of those days... the kiddos needed some fun added to their day after completing their chores list.  AND RJ actually HELPED Morgan, yes, you read that right, RJ HELPED Morgan complete her chore list since he was done his!  The next door neighbor girls came over to play too!
