New Years Eve Day!

The kiddos and I ventured into the city alone... yikes!  Bob was under the weather so he decided not to join us.  Driving to the skating rink was a little scary... made one wrong turn - over the Ben Franklin Bridge, oops!  Only a $5 dollar toll detour - but hey, we made it safe and sound - and that is all that matters!!

After skating Mom used the Uber app and got us to the city! Wahoo!!  Found the downtown locations to see while in the city!  ...and we didn't get lost :)

We stopped at Reading Terminal for some yummy desserts but forgot to take a picture there... oops!

Next up, big tree on our way to Macy's... 

Found the Christmas Carol... uh-oh... need a reservation.  I pulled out my phone and quickly 'made a reservation' for the 3:30 showing.  We were one of 4 families there... not sure we really needed a reservation but we did it!  We took a quick trip through Scrooge's journey so we could make our final stop by 4!

Although the light show was only being played one time a day at 11:30 we didn't get to see the actual show, but the lights were coming off and on as we walked through Macy's

In case anyone was wondering... we made it to the Comcast Light Show with time to spare!  Wahoo!

Successfully uber'd back to Penn's Landing and got a perfect spot to see the fireworks!  5:02... 58 minutes to wait

And then the scary ride home... I did well!  Although it was crazy traffic I made it home AND made no detours!  Whoot-whoot!

Christmas Lights

Morgan and I went out to see two local homes that decorate amazingly every year!  We brought an extra guest with us.  Dad was not feeling well and RJ decided he didn't want to go.  I've just decided I can't argue anymore about the small things!  I will do what I want to do and others can join me or not!

RJ finally got outside... or was he forced outside? He decided he'd stay outside until he made 100 baskets.  When he is determined there is a way!  Morgan is not pictured because she was at swim team practice.

Fully Vaccinated

Forced but done - I felt like we were all being blackmailed since we couldn't do things unless we showed we were fully vaccinated.  So, here you go government... the kids are officially fully vaccinated.  Now if they can't get pregnant, their baby has 5 arms, or Morgan or RJ turn orange with purple polka dots we know why!

Hmm... didn't take too long!

Although he may be too old to play make-believe or pretend, it warms my heart that he can create ideas in his head and I see him carrying through!

Shady Brook Farm

Tonight we went and drove through Shady Brook Farm's light show.  It was great and never disappoints!  All enjoyed the ride!
